Don't want Robben here. No doubt he is a quality player and would improve our squad (when he's fit, so we'd see him about as often as a rich man in a Skoda), but as a matter of principle, I don't want this diving, cheating arrogant pr**k at LFC.

      Robben deal a possibility

      http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/liverpool-fc/liverpool-fc-news/2009/08/25/liverpool-fc-rumour-mill-itandje-deal-robben-chase-voronin-staying-honda-race-92534-24526994/

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is believed to have stepped up his interest in Arjen Robben, after reports yesterday suggested Manchester United were keen on the Real Madrid player.

The Spaniard has long been an admirer of the winger, and could go head-to-head with his bitter rival Sir Alex Ferguson over the player's signature.

The Holland star is out of a favour at Real Madrid and is eyeing a return to the Barclays Premier League, possibly on a season-long loan deal.

I also would take Robben he is great at hogging the touch line and that is what we seek natural width.

steven gerrard regularly dives and is very arrogant - we've all seen how he cant get away from signing autographs, etc, fast enough - as a person I dislike him - as a footballer hes one of the greatest - a bit like Sir Alex in that sense

Agreed mate he would also free Kuyt up to be Nando's back up and he could rotate with Kuyt also, win win situation on loan as financially it's low risk and if he helped us lift number 19, I  could forgive his theatrics against us.

If he helps us get to number 19 surely his theatrics would be forgiven. Come on we need to win this title and if it means signing a theatrical player with the ability to help us to number 19 then surely its a gamble/risk worth taking.

      You're mad.

But on topic, I'd have Robben here. He's got the creativity and width we crave.

He's also got speed. I'd have him here. We don't have anyone going froward with the ball that has electric speed. He's a c**t but he's a quality c**t!  ;D  Get him here Rafa even it is on a loan deal.

We have Aurelio and Aquilani who are injury prone, do we really want another injury prone player?

He's quality on his day, but most of the time it goes to waste on the physio table.

Dutch media are reporting that there's an agreement between Bayern Munich and Real for the sale of Robben for 25 million euros. Apparently Robben is in Germany right now to get it all finalised.

Doesn't he play the same position as Ribery? I can see speculation regarding him reappearing if that's the case.
