Dossena, as well as being sh*t, is also injured.

Pretty much what I expected. With Lucas not being in the squad on Wednesday, it was clear he was gonna start today. And there was no way Gerrard was gonna be on the bench.

That team is well capable to do Hull in today.

I think everyone would agree with me that that is our strongest bench of the season so far?

Lucas continuing to impress the boss. Riera in for Mascherano suggests to me that either Kuyt is playing up top with Torres in a 4-4-2, or that Benayoun is slotting in to the Gerrard role.

Either way, I like the look of the team, far more adventurous.  That is a team built to go for all 3 points.

I'd imagine that'd be Kuyt on the right, Riera on the left and Benayoun dropping behind Torres, with Gerrard pushed further back, at least to start. If that doesn't work he'll probably change it up and push Gerrard forward more. I think Riera needs to put in a good game today, he's not hitting much form at the moment and needs to prove he's worth a starting place.

Should win this easily though, Hull are sh*t!

gerrard n lucas play deep, with kyut just behind torres, then gerrard able too make runs into the box from deeper and avoid markers, just like the burnley game, 4-0 too us
