Not seen the match yet ,will be watching MOTD later ,tried to watch a stream but it was crap ,by all accounts we played as Liverpool play ,solid ,creative and with passion, really am made up now ,three valuable points against our biggest rivals sums my mood up , i did  find it hard to listen to a match like this on the radio but could not pick ONE man of the match ..several deserve that title but have to say they pulled it off for Rafa ynwa

I'm taking no notice. The toss-bag was slagging us off not long ago. Goes with the flow all too often.

That's more like it and from the MOTM poll it seems I was not alone in thinking that Lucas played his best game to date!

Now all we need to do is focus on playing like that all the time and only adjusting the way we play to help with suspensions (Masch) and the return of Gerrard, me and the wife both thought Carra, Yossi, Lucas and Kuyt all played exceptionally well and not to mention Reina keeping sharp at the back (bless him at the end when he ran up to celebrate the 2nd goal)

I was not expecting anything like that kind of performance but there is always something about this fixture that tells you we hate to lose it regardless of who's fit.

That how much difference 1 man makes to the team. Thats how we should be playing all the time. Extremely pleased with the performance. Carragher had one of the ebst days of his career, agger was very solid, johnson stayed back and defended which was good, kuyt and yossi applied enormous pressure. Masch and Lucas were excellent in the centre. Lucas's firts half was the ebst he's ever played but second half he gave away WAY too many free kicks. Giggs could've easily converted one of those.

Thats the reason Torres gets my man of the match although I think there should be 2 MOTM as carragher had and awesome game. Thoroughly deserved to be captain today. Just came back from injury but worked his ass off and showed that he is a class apart from everyone else. Nice to see ngog on the score sheet as well.

Brilliant, everyone played fantastic, even Lucas managed to raise his game, fair play to him (and I am not a Lucas fan)

Sky Sports News reporting a quote from Christian Purslow that the club will have new investors within six months he says "there has been a huge amount of interest from some extremely wealthy and expert investors"

Jaysus how is Masch not in the list for Man of the match he was exceptional today. He gave a midfield masterclass I thought he owned the midfield assisted by Lucas. Thought we were excellant.

Torres frightened the life out of Vidic and Ferdinand. Vidic must have nightmares about him. With Aquiliani and Gerrard to come into that team maybe it is not as depressing as everyone seems to think.

What a game! Well in to everyone at Anfield today, a boss atmosphere! First time to Anfield this season and our best performance of the season, I'm loving it ;D

Every single Liverpool player put in a shift tonight and that's what got us the three points.
