Seeing that we got shafted good style this season, just wondered where I'll watch the Reds lift No 6 !!  At least I might stand a chance of a ticket this time 84,745 seats available !!

Heard that today whilst queuing up. Moscow is a cool place !!!
Went to that ground (when it was called The Lenin Stadium) in October 1992.
Saw CSKA Moscow v's Barcelona in the European cup one night, then the next night watched Spartak Moscow v's Liverpool in the Cup Winners Cup.
We got beat 4-2 that night with Grobbelaar getting sent off and if I remember rightly David Burrows going in net and his first piece of action was to face a penalty.
Met up with all the players the morning of our match as they came off the pitch following there warm up.

The admission price was 120 rubles (24pence at the time) - I've still got the ticket stubs.
Loved the whole place, but very cold.
Defo would go back and see how much it's changed.

You will need to have a new LFC Ultra-Super Fan Card, 3 League Cup games, 2 Reserve games, a copy of Lern Yerself Scouse and a USA stamp in your passport to be eligible to enter next season's Champions League final bingo ballot.

After Athens, I think I'll give Moscow a miss. Dont fancy getting some of the police hospitality dished out to the gay rights protesters in Moscow today. I guess the Moscowites will be kitted out properly to deal with ticketless supporters who try to get into the ground. Given their human rights records, next years's final is probably best watched from the armchair or a local.

They are very heavy handed regarding the police.
I went in 1992, and was caught up in some tear gas and baton waving after the CSKA V's Barcelona match.
My advise, don't try and get in without a ticket.

Yea DOBBS me too i am going from Sydney so that 26 hours even further, I am going to the Euro and considering Moscow as a stop of. But the $$$ will be low.

Last night missed out on the evening at the Triskels Tavern with the lads, watching the game at home with my boy... apparently a fantastic night and morning was had by a few redmen here... all feeling their pleasure-pains this morning no doubt.... and at home a couple of decent bottles of Rioja have gone missing...!?
