Peed off that Aqualani is only on the bench, Gerrard better put in the performance of his life tonight.  I reckon Gerrard will go off after 60 mins and Aqualani will come on.

Am i the only one liking the look of that side compared to the Wolves starting 11?
Suprised not to see Aquilani but Lucas and Mascherano have been playing well of late so why break that partnership up? With Gerrard, Riera, Kuyt and Maxi we've got enough going forward, and i think we might see Insua getting up there aswell to put in some good crosses.
The big greek aswell ofcourse to take the Sami Hyypia role in set pieces.
Plus considering our Injuries, a good bench. Aquilani, Babel, Ngog, Pacheco, and Degen can all change a game in one way or another.

Hoping for a comfortable win but this is the Premier League Any win in a potentially tricky game like this will do.

looking forward to seeing Maxi - I get the feeling Rafa doesnt have much faith in Aqui, probably becaus ehe gives the ball away too much which is not a Rafa trait (but then wtf buy him?) - another Ryan Babel  may be on the horizon

This is very pisstaking. Are we going to get some breaking news at the end of the season that aquilani wasn't a rafa buy and that he never wanted him thats why he used him occassionally? What a joke!

Baffling decision from Rafa the Gaffer but i have every confidence we'll win tonight.

Just got back from work and wow what a decision to drop Alberto. Definately should have played as he needs match time, no F***ing need for Gerrard tonight.

If its a strain he wouldn't even be on the bench. Gerrard's just come back from ANOTHER injury (God knows by the end of the match he'll probably pick up another one). There is absolutely no reason for Aquilani to be dropped apart from stupidity and stubborness.
