Great win and performance today, some of the passing and moving was out of this world and makes you wonder why we can't do that every game (I won't mention the much maligned L person :D)

I thought Agger had a great game but had to give Torres MOTM, that first goal was unbelievable, absolute genius he is. Missed a few sitters though!  One thing that did stand out for me was the difference in distribution between Agger and Carra. The contrast between Agger methodically bringing the ball out of defence and Carra's hoofing is jarring.  Top class today from Dagger.

And great to see Gerrard do what he does best from centre midfield.  Even Kuyt and Insua had pretty good games.

      F*cking wooooooooooooooooo! By the way!

Made up with this result. Fancied more, but it's much better than 1-0 or 2-0. ;) Every cloud... ;)

Well done Redmen. Win a game convincingly and actually look like you meant it. Not bad eh?

We played immense, everyone was working hard for each other, always looking positive and dangerous going forward, closing down and looking solid at the back, even insua ;D

A message to all the fans who went to the game today: The atmosphere was quiet as hell towards the end, we as fans all have a part to play too in showing encouragment and driving the team on to success, particularly after a great performance like today. Lets not have too many quiet games!

Maybe they were in shock.  ;D

We F***ing twatted them. From start to finish we showed our sheer class, our desire and the reason why this race for fourth is nowhere near over.

One of the most pleasing things today was the delivery from set pieces. Usually we fail to put a decent ball in from a dead ball situation but today we were constantly putting it in the right areas. Every time in the first half we had either a corner or free kick, Stevie was hitting the right area. Could of easily scored from every set piece we had in the first half.

Second half we tailed off a little bit but were still in cruise control, Sunderland never really threatened us and were made to look like a very, very average side.

That's the way our Liverpool sides should be playing from now until the rest of the season, a Liverpool side without shackles. Being given the freedom and seeing players interchange their positions. No side would of been able to cope with us today.

      Reina - sheer spectator.
Johnson - did well going forward and great ball for Torres' second.
Carra - looked calm all game.
Agger - was out F***ing standing.
Insua - defended as well as he has all year.
Maxi - good first half, sort of tailed off towards the end.
Gerrard - was his best performance of the season, hopefully a sign of things to come.
      Masch - did alright.
Babel - the one let down today, was very wasteful.
Kuyt - had a very quiet game.
Torres - should of had six goals but the two he did take were exceptional.
Aquilani - didn't do much when he came on.
Ngog - Not sure if he actually touched the ball.
El Zhar - made a couple of runs out wide.

All in all it was a very assured performance, now it's time to build upon it. Everybody was saying we needed six wins out of our last seven games, well it's one down five to go.

Come on Reds, keep it up.

I was a happy man walking out of Anfield today because I watched Liverpool knock the ball about superbly at times. Scored 3 could have been 8.

      Agger and Torres superb.

6 more games like that and we will get 4th

Where the feck have Liverpool been all season? That's how it's supposed to be done. Great result. Steve Bruce has a big fat head. It looked like it was going to drop off at one stage.

Agger got my man of the match. Wasn't sure if he was playing up front or in defence. He was like a man possessed today, always driving forward. Torres was different class today too.

Hope this isn't too little too late. Fingers crossed we can push onwards. I think Ive heard myself say that a few times this season. Well in.
Love how you throw in the Steve Bruce comment randomly during your analysis of the game!!

Thought we we're bloody fantastic today. Really what we have been missing all season, and I thoght that Babel was excellent, in the past he would run, take men on, lose the ball. Today however, he took people on when he should have, and passed when it was the correct option. Real sign of maturity that.

Torres was quality, but he still missed chance's he should be burying...someone needs to have a word with him ;) All in all, one of the best performances that we have put in this season. Let's hope it continues.

I agree Stevie was solid as and was in my top 3 performers amongst Nando and Agger.

Great game to watch that was, first 20 minutes reminded me of the Madrid mauling.

Well in Rafa and the lads.

I thought Lucas was man of the match, sitting on that bench for 90 minutes and letting Stevie control the flow and the tempo of the game, what a nice young lad he is ;D

A pleasure to see the reds go out and play football like they want to win.

Torres should never be sold no matter what the price - he is immense and will always be loved by us.

This could be the perfect warm up for Benfica. Need plenty of confidence going into that one. Hope he sticks with Gerrard in that position.

Think this was one of our best performances of the season
Nando's goals were just sublime and jusy goes to show how why he is one of the best in the world..
I dont see shrek scoring any of those to goals .Nando is just different class
Stevie G had a great game also his crossing was excellent today and he seemed so much happier in this roll
Our football today was flowing and a joy to watch
It takes alot for opposing manager to say they were just out played and nothing they could do to stop us
Lets hope we finish this season like this.
