We Have to put our faith in Broughton.  he has a very good reputation in the business world and he is the man responsible in getting the best deal (long term) for Liverpool FC, and not the yanks.  he has said this himself.  If he were to sell simply to the highest bidder which would see the yanks benefit and the club left short changed in terms of funds for players and stadium investment, then his reputation would take a serious hammering.  he knows how high profile this takeover is in the country and globally, and will want to get it right!

I don't know which way to turn anymore. One minute I get info the China bid is a front, the next it's solid. Totally agree with redprint though its down to Broughton now and I just hope he is a responsible as we should all hope he is to do the best thing for the fans and the community.

Strangely enough one of Purslow's 'moles' as much as said just that euro' - that is; as he's only in this for himself, he would eventually stab Hicks and Gillett in the back.

That act, should it happen, wouldn't make him any less untrustworthy or a better human being in my eyes. All it would be is a nice bit of Machiavellian self-preservation and F**k all else. I wouldn't be kidded that it was for the betterment of Liverpool F.C. In fact all it would prove is that he'll 'Judas' anyone and I (sure as sh*t) won't be heaping praise on such an individual but, hey, each to their own.
