Yeah, South American had more teams in the QF than Europe, but all Europeans went through.

WC 2006 had no South Americans in the semifinals either, so Europe pretty much dominating the last competitions.

It's also gonna be the first ever European triumph outside European soil!

The second half was quite interesting after the Dutch decided to step up their game , but the Van Bronkhorst goal was amazing , a real screamer which was needed this WC . Great cross by Dirk for the 3rd goal , but the Maxi Peirra is also a player to keep watch out for he had a solid game today . The Netherlands deserved to win today , great victory , on the way to an all European final . TBH I thought that the South American teams would dominate seeing their performance in the earlier stages but the European teams prevailed , hope to see Spain in the final though , like the octopus said .

It was an even game until Sneijder got his shot counted as a goal, which as you said, should have been offside.
