AS Monaco striker Park Chu-young is wanted by Liverpool and Bolton Wanderers, a French sports magazine reported Friday.
According to LâEquipe, the two Premier League clubs are âtracking the South Korean internationalâs situation,â who plans to move to England after his team was relegated from the French first division, Ligue 1, this season.
The forward has previously stated his intention to play at a club that âcan advance to the European Champions League.â
Park scored 12 goals in 33 league appearances in his third season in the French league to finish as the clubâs highest scorer. The 25-year-old was also ranked 12th in the Ligue 1 scoring charts.
Park has established himself as a key player for Monaco and statistics have improved since his debut in 2008. He had five goals in 31 Ligue 1 games in the 2008-09 season, and eight in 27 matches the following campaign.
While Park is under contract with the French outfit until 2013, the South Korean has drawn interest from a number of clubs, including Ligue 1 teams such as Olympique Lyonnais, who finished the season in third place.
