Might be, but I will hold off anymore judgement until it actually comes out. I found it very suspicious if he is left out of the squad.

Perhaps someone told him that he is a defender, and he's in shock about it.

In all seriousness though, our defence is going to be even dodgier than usual if Carra is playing full back and Koncheskey back on the left.  If the rumours are true about Poulsen and Lucas starting too, I don't fancy our chances. 

Poulsen seems undroppable and people wonder why Hodgson is getting questioned.

Funny despite our woeful start a win tomorrow would leave us only 5 points off second place

Oh God, that news has just ruined my Saturday night. 

I don't necessarily have a problem with Poulsen playing for this team. The only problem I have with Poulsen is that when he plays with Lucas in the defensive midfield, the team fails to have even a hint of creativity and it hurts us as a whole. I'd like to see a Meireles-Poulsen pairing in defensive midfield just for the sake of experimentation. However, with Hodgson playing Meireles on the right wing as much as he does, I doubt we will ever see this.

I used to think like you. I had no problems if Lucas or Poulsen started but not both at the same time. However, I've changed my views since then. I don't want Poulsen to even start a game. I don't think we had a good attacking game from the start when Poulsen starts. Most of them were after he was taken off.

He can't pass a simple pass, he can't tackle, he puts his teammates under pressure by giving them uncomfortable passes in dangerous areas, he gives a way tackles too easily for a defensive midfielder, has no pace and he has no vision. Lucas is a better player by far and should be given starts ahead of him.

Thats all we need is a win ,and with manu f...ing up again at home, we"ll close the gap ,its still early yet , and with a change of management we could be contenders .I love optimism.
