Seriously though, no. I think it's one huge mess up and far as I am concerned, FSG now owe Klopp and the supporters big time

That being said the echo is reporting that Soton has evidence of Klopp meeting VVD in Blackpool earlier this year....who knows?

First job for Peter Moore is to get rid of people like Edwards who don't understand the Liverpool way of attracting and signing top class players to the club.

I do think someone will be sacked by the end of this week. My guess would be Edwards.

I assume it was John Henry but I am of the understanding that Peter Moore is the top dog at Anfield and is responsible to the Boston Mafia.

Nah our owners ain't got the bottle to do something like that.

Wait for the Joyce/Pearce articles by the end of the week saying the club have full faith in him as he's only just starting the role or some sh*te like that.

But FSG hired Comolli, and Edwards.

Funny how these targets did not fit with the FSG ethos of "Buy Young,Round About £10m, With Potential, and a Resalable Value"... An now both deals seem to be as dead as disco...Bit too convenient if you ask me. If I was more of a clinical person, I might believe that this was just a snowball exercise to lay grounds for the excuses for why LFC could not achieve their First or Second transfer targets yet again and that the VVD deal was leaked by a paid FSG employee on the behest of one JWH....

I agree that there has been deliberate sabotage here.

I won't be judging this windows business until the window closes. The window isn't even open yet and people are calling it a write off. Morons, honestly.

In fairness Mags you don't like the idea of us spending big money, so you won't be as disappointed as the rest of us when things like this happen.

I'm not opposed to big money, I am opposed to overpaying. VvD at 70 million or Salah at 40 I'd have closed negotiations.

Thinking VvD is the only player to sure up our defence is narrow thinking. Same for Salah, in fact I don't think Salah improves the first 11 at all.

So far the people brought in under Koop have been mostly a success so I'm keeping patient.

If Klopp wants VD then we should be willing to pay, I'm genuinely worried about who we'll get instead, likely another bargain basement signing.

So please name a CB better than Van Dijk for less money and a winger better than Salah for less money?

Yes whatever it costs. £100m, £200, just go for it. :lmao: Football club is a business, Liverpool is a global brand. My ass! Winning things is more life and death then a bloody football club business.
