Huge game Sunday against the far and away best team in the league. Good to be going in with 3 wins in a row under the belt but this will be a completely different challenge.

Cole and N'Gog look likely to miss out but the possibilty of Dirk Kuyt returning to the squad as he trains full today.

I think if we line up with our best available and with the right tactics we are capable of doing them. Stevie looked unstoppable at times last night in centre mid and has to start there Sunday for me. Meireles in with him. Play 2 wide men, I keep saying Johnson on right mid but I dont think it will happen. So Id give the chance to Eccelstone. Has pace and done well when came on last night and maybe give Pacheco the chance hes due, granted hes not a winger but I have seen him play on the left and cause chaos by cutting in

Id stick with Sotis for his physicality against Drogba and his aerial threat at the other end

would love to see eccleston and/or pacheco, but doubt it would happen given roy's naturally cautious and defensive approach.

soto has to start, given his form  you simply cannot take that away from him. which leaves a very very difficult choice between skrtl and carra. heart wants carra to start, purely because even if he lacks the pace, his authority and organisational skills cannot be under estimated.

however, soto isnt the fastest either, 2 slow cbs would be asking for trouble. head says skrtl, heart says carra...

I think Hodgson will drop Soto for Skertel as he may think Skertel's pace may prevent Anelka and co getting in behind us. But frankly we sit too deep anyway these days much to my displeasure, so Soto would be my man. It's time Meireles gave the team a bit more I don't know about anyone else but I've been slightly underwhelmed by his performances so far.

If we play as though we're the away team we'll lose this, we have to be more expansive in our play and go at them more and push up more than we have been.

Well if we get the right team out the crowd will respond and JH might just start to understand a bit more about us and how passionate we are about our club. I would leave Jamie out as he has a dogs life against Drogba and I think Sotis would handle him better. For me I will start to get excited when I see what sort of team Roy puts out and if Poulsen is down to play god help us.

Not at all confident with our RB situation, Ashley Cole will rip Johnson apart but I equally worry about Carra's lack of pace I'd stick Carra in because he is a great defender and we don't need to play attacking wing-backs at home to Chelsea especially given our recent performances.  Lucas as a forward-passing holding player, Spearing in as a DM to give bite to our midfield (a poor man's Alonso, Mascherano partnership).  Maxi to give width, Gerrard because he is awesome and Jovanovic because we've got no-one else for that position...

Hope we can keep it tight, play well, press them hard, keep the ball and get a little bit of magic from Stevie and Nando.
We have the potential to win this, though it will be down to the players to motivate themselves. A draw would be a good result.

Hmm TKIDLLTK raises a valid poinbt about Ashley Cole. I think this is more reason to push Johnson up right mid and Kelly at right back however this means if Aurelio is out we have to continue with Koncheskey at leftback.

I saw some headline on SSN from Andy F***ing Gray who said that this game will show Roy how much we have actually progressed. I think that is, as usual, utter sh*te coming from his mouth. I mean, even if we were having a great season, a match against Chelski is always going to be difficult and if we were to lose it, it wouldn't make or break our season.
