No I did, when Fergie was raving over him, he played against Utd, he then scored against United. Still, average, and would not be interested in blowing money on the guy.

I,d have a lucky punt with this one. Hes not getting many chances at Real so i,d go in with a loan deal in January with the option to buy in the summer if he works out. I,m a bit worried about splashing mega money on a striker in the January window, although we do need one, I think a loan deal would be in our best interests so we can concentrate on strengthening the squad in other areas. A loan deal for Benzema or Mario Gomez would suit us I think because we dont know whats going to happen with Torres in the summer. If we get 4th i think he,ll stay if we dont i think he,ll be off like a flash.
