It would make sense to sell Insua.

For me I will keep Johnson in his natural position and get a natural LB

I know corbally disagrees, but I honestly think Kelly is the better right back and will keep Johnson playing on the left.

I would agree that Kelly is the better defender, but in terms of an attacking RB, Johno nips it for me.  I think Kelly could be immense for us in a CB role as he is strong, quick, fast, good in the tackle, has great positional sense, and times his challenges well.  The only question mark in my eyes is whether he has the ability to win the aerial battle, but I think he would rise to the task.  I would love to see him given a run out in the CB role in preseason before we hit the games that matter though.

For this reason, I would like to see Johno at RB, Kelly at CB, and I'd like to see us bring in a natural LB to compete with Robo/Aurelio.

To stay on topic, I like Insua and think he can be a decent little LB, but his development has stagnated in the last 18 months.  I think Robo will end up being better than Insua, and therefore won't mind if we sell him to help fund the transfer of a true 1st choice LB for the next few seasons until Robo makes the position his own.

Johnson left back with young Robinson as back up not to mention mr glass.... I mean Aurelio. Unlike some I think three fighting for that place is sufficient.

If we don't buy a LB I tend to agree gazza but would keep Insua rather than Fabio. I think Fabio is the better player but as you say he is made of glass and I'm not sure how reliable he will be next season.

Insua as back up to Glen with Robinson getting a couple of games in the cup or late in the season.

Ultimately I'd still like us to add a LB to the squad.

Looked good so far on his return to us. No point selling him for the sake of selling.

I cant see any reason why we need to sell Insua, he did have a dodgy season with us before he went on loan, but now he is back, alot wiser(and wider) and with more experience, he was back up to sick note Aurelio and was put under severe pressure for one so young at that time, if people are prepared to give Ngog further chances, then why not Emilaino ?  I beleive between Kenny and Clarkey they will get the best from him, and we have young Robinson as back up, also why play players out of their comfort zone like when GJ deputised at LB last season, to me you play players in their positions of strength therefore maximising their skills and talent, and brings about the perfect balance or at least as close to it as you can get,

Insua deffo deserves at least another season with us, and you never know he may turn out to be a world beater, he could ultimately save us millions too which in turn could be used elsewhere, give the fella a chance at least t'l Jan, then see where he is at.

I wouldn't feel comftorable with Insua and Johnson as our starting full backs. Even with Flanno Kelly and Robbo back up.. need a quality signing. Kelly should be playing CB in the reserves IMO

Isn't his contract up next summer anyway?

      Probably off on a free.
