Good bench, may need one or two of the lads to come on later, hope for a good attacking game and of course a win for the reds.

      Sending offs? Let's hope not.

2-0 to the mighty red half of Merseyside  :scarf:

Come the f**k on Red men!!! F***ing pumped.

Reading the BBC live text page with an outpour of support for Everton saying they deserve this and Moyes is a reincarnate deity is so f**king infuriating.

      COME ON!

Ive had cock Blues telling me all week that Kenny's last game the first time round was against them in the FA cup and it will be this time..

Come on reds... Stuff them ...

      Could be 3-5-2:
      Carra-Skrtel-Agger
      Johnson-Henderson-Spearing-Gerrard-Downing
      Suarez-Carroll

Surprised to see Carragher would preferred to see Enrique and a return to the back four we had earlier in the season. No Coates on the bench either. Would preferred to have seen Maxi ahead of downing

Bit worried about that defence and disappointed Maxi didn't get a start but hopefully enough there for the win.

I think we might play almost a 3 at the back giving Johnson licence to raid forward.

Im quite happy with the defence... Carra will be bang up for this and still has good performances in his legs... The blues will be bombarding Jones from Nevilles long throws... Free kicks, corners... Anything they can.. The more height we have to help clear them before it gets to him the better for me.

That is where I don't get Kenny.

I mean ... Maxi has done alot more than Downing and Carragher has been much of a liability.

      Wouldn't mind a 3-5-2 actually.
Gerrard, Spearing, Hendo centrally And Johnson, Downing out wide.

Downing was m.o.t.m. last time we were at wembley, presume Kenny is hoping for  repeat performance? Maxi does tend to disappear out of games (usually after scoring ;D ) so not sure why he hasn't got a start. Everton to physical for him ?

True that but I'd rather have Maxi score 3 goals and disappear for an hour than Downing disappearing for the whole game!!

Get behind the lads please... If Carra or Downing or whoever is poor today lets discuss it after... At least give them the opportunity to be poor first.. Get behind the lads...

Not very happy seeing Downing, Henderson and Carroll being once again prefered to players like in-form Maxi and the always-better-in-derbies Kuyt. Hope they'll be at least used subs (and Bellamy too, but I fear it's unlikely that Agger and Johnson both finish the match, so we won't see the 3).
As Carragher is another derby specialist, won't complain about him starting (it's more in "random league games" that I wouldn't use him).

      3-5-2 would make sense here

               Carra-Skrtel-Agger
      Johnson-Hendo-Spearing-Gerrard-Downing
               Suarez-Carroll

But chances are it is a 442 with Agger at LB and Hendo at RM

Just think we play a bit too deep when Carra's in the team but agreed about the aerial threat issue. If Agger's at LB then I'm sure he'll get forward too like he did against Blackburn.

Maxi is not to light. Adds more to the game than downing. If either player goes missing id say its downing. Maxi is the better player. And is a better foil for Suarez

More then happy with that team, think we can do the business and if not we have a strong enough bench to come on and make the difference.
