John Henry has already declared his liking for his fellow yank, so i personally think this will happen today. As for finding 2 mill, Think this is just a ploy to get him 2 mill cheaper. Best we'll get for around 5 mill, although not exactly top drawer, he will bring another dimention to our squad with his never say die attitude. It may rub off on a few others as well which won't be a bad thing.

 To be honest, almost regardless of anyones opinion of Dempsey and/or the fee, now Carrolls gone we really need this to happen as we cannot possibly go into the season with only Suarez and Borini and potential central strikers.

Im actually baffled that for a fee of around £7 million there are LFC fans out there that don't want Dempsey at the club.

Hes notched up 10+ goals every season since hes been in England. Last season netting 23 goals and notching up a further 6 assists.

If the lad was playing for a team in Spain & called Dempsino the same people arguing against his transfer would be raving about him. But because its that American bloke who plays for lowly Fulham 'he must be sh*te'. Its F***ing daft. For £7 million, get him through that F***ing door and sign him on the dotted line.

Funny Danny Ive had lads who follow other clubs telling me he'd be a great signing.
