Not a fan of Sturridge. Seemed to be finally turning a corner at Chelsea early last season, only to turn into one of the most selfish players in the league and be subsequently dropped for the vital games of their season.

Fair enough point I'd say if he'd been played at "centre-forward" for Chelsea but saying as he was deployed, mostly, wide right; it's maybe not just as valid. His eight goals from twelve games for Bolton (when playing "centre-forward") may be a more true reflection of his 'prowess'.

Or, alternatively, you could go - 12 goals, in 56 appearances, from a wide position. Which on reflection is non too shabby. I guess it all depends on which way you look at it.
