Sturridge is going to be a top player. Unfortunately my guess is Chelsea realise it now and won't part with him quite so readily as they were prepared to do when buying Torres. 40 mill plus Sturridge was the talk, now THAT was a deal.

      Or exactly that, just talk!!

Not a fan of Sturridge. Seemed to be finally turning a corner at Chelsea early last season, only to turn into one of the most selfish players in the league and be subsequently dropped for the vital games of their season.

Jim Rosenthal, jack of all trades, master of none, you mean. Didn't he cover athletics as well as football and boxing. Why not ask that cockney tit Steve Bunce as well?

They are both sh*t commentators and how the F**k do you know what circles I move in, know a couple of lads who've I've worked with and done journo jobs at the echo and covered Liverpool, so I'd say they know more than those F***ing two. Alright lid!!

If you say so . But i think Ian Arye has a bit more insite than a journo from the echo . Anyway im not going to argue about it i was just saying what i heard.

And you go buy yourself a sense of humour!

I remember when being a Liverpool fan meant having a boss sense of humour.

But this guy thinks his impossible to tackle, he tries the impossible and it just does not work, if we did get him he would have to work on releasing the ball.

      Step in Brendan Rodgers.

The only newspaper I've seen running this story is the Daily Star, so in that case excuse me if I think it's bollocks for now!

On that not note, I'll agree and F**k off until there is something to see.

Would you consider that a good goal record from a centre forward?

Fair enough point I'd say if he'd been played at "centre-forward" for Chelsea but saying as he was deployed, mostly, wide right; it's maybe not just as valid. His eight goals from twelve games for Bolton (when playing "centre-forward") may be a more true reflection of his 'prowess'.

Or, alternatively, you could go - 12 goals, in 56 appearances, from a wide position. Which on reflection is non too shabby. I guess it all depends on which way you look at it.
