These owners proved in the summer that they really don't give flying fook about the cups so why risk it.
@LFCConfirmed #LFC team: Jones, Wisdom, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Gerrard, Sahin, Shelvey, Assaidi, Downing, Suarez. That XI is absolute f**king madness so close to the derby.
Allen, Sterling, Suso on the bench getting a rest for this weekend? Yesil on the bench as well, maybe he'll get some time this evening?
A) We need a win tonightB) These are well trained well loked after pros a full 48 hour plus some is ample rest timeC) We could rest 3 of them and they might get injured training on SaturdayD) Win tonight raises confidence for SundayE) We need to win tonight
The importance of cup competition in the eyes of the club's hierarchy is clear in light of managerial changes this season. We always want a win, but how bothered is anyone about this game in comparison to Sunday? As far as training injuries/tiredness I'd rather 4-5 of that team were rested and we risk training them as opposed to playing in a match. Especially when that match involves Chris Samba; well known for killing eating strikers as a second half snack.

Dont mind the owners we as fans with our players and management want to win every game and cup.Say we weakened the team tonight and lost 2 or 3 nil do ye think heads would be right going into Sunday?
Actually looking at it, the midfield trio looks a bit vulnerable to the counter attack...
Going to throw a few quid on Jonjo first goal actually,

Hmm.... really? every game and cup?Last year before the FA Cup final we played Fulham in the league at home, we fielded this lineupDoni; Aurelio, Coates, Kelly, Skrtel; Maxi, Henderson, Spearing, Shelvey; Carroll, Kuyt. And we lost, to Fulham, at Anfield. In the league. Are you sure that lineup said "we want to win every game"?"oh but it was before the FA cup final."Okay so.... what you really mean is... we want to win... most games.
