Cracking player but not a fit for me, I was hoping for someone who naturally plays wide but is also good playing centrally if studge is out, where as balotelli is natural striker who could do a job out wide if needed (very similar in the respect to studge). I think studge had done enough to be the main man in that central role and would hate to see his nose put out by being forced out wide/benched. What would Balotellis response to sitting on the bench be?

This is what we lost in Suarez, a player comfortable drifting out wide, dropping deeper and able to play. With Balotelli & Sturridge, they both prefer to play centrally and are more #9s than anything else. I wonder how this would work if/when they play together.

Wow if we land Balotelli I'd say this is the best summer we had for ages . Can I be greedy more and say offload borini and get Eto .

same here. The Reus thread is still open and I'd get better oddsat playing for Liverpool myself since both parties ruled it out.

Get it done, I've missed the lad to be honest, always loved him at man city, mainly for the laughs though..... I'm sure Rodgers can get the best out of him like he has done with most our players, he's still a young one and could become lethal, like Sturridge.
