Brewster will be a key part of the squad next year.
If looking at the way we play I think weâre much more likely to buy a Fekir type than a stereotypical no.9.
Itâs compelling cover for the front 3 we need and someone to knit the play a little.
I understand - to a degree - the desire for a goalscoring CF......on a certain level it should be a no-brainer BUT itâs about the sum of the parts.......
I see it a bit like âsurf and turfâ - sticking 2 great things together doesnât mean the output is better.
I'm hoping we see someone who can play across the front line.
Having a "target man, traditional 9" isn't as useful in some situations as people might think.
IMO it's far better to have a player who can rotate in/out across the front, and do it as seamlessly as possible.
Short, quick, intricate passing in and around the box, link play, defensive play, goals, pace, vision. I don't really want much
People keep throwing out names, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Klopp and the transfer team go for someone who is not on the radar as far as the media is concerned. Then again, the media are such lazy fuckers these days, they get most of their "sources" from forums supposed ITK's.
F**k the "traditional 9" and keep building the attack.
If the players that come in are quality, I don't give F**k what their name is or where they come from.
