      And so it begins

According to Sly Sports Guardiola is targeting Suarez for Bayern Munich, and want to team him up with Falcao

Lazy journalism at its best, or reasons to be worried?

Lazy journalism mate.  The Mirror putting 2+2 together due to Barca's interest last summer and Luis's agent being Peps brother.

Pep's already said in an interview he's been watching Bayern since August and is not planning on buying anyone.  I know it's easy to say but I'd rather go off direct quotes than a conjoured up story in the Mirror.

Won't be the first or last team we'll see Luis linked with, maybe one for the Transfer Board.

Is there an article of note?

Rubbish. Uli Hoeneß told the German sports press that there will be no crazy transfers. I honestly can't believe Bayern splashing again more than 20-30 Mio. Euro on new stars.
They've got Mandzukic on fire and with Gomez on the bench two top class strikers. He also said that Guardiola likes the current Bayern team and every single player.
Imho no way Suarez to leave for Bayern Munich.

Suarez is going to be linked with all the top clubs.

Nothing to get worried about here I feel.

      Lazy journalism from Sunday rags.

They basically said who are the two most in form strikers at the moment? Falcao and Suarez/Van Persie. Van Persie only joined United and his age would go against another "big move". Add the fact that they wouldn't want to upset Mr. Ferguson.

When you have the best players there's always going to be crap like this. Especially when it's the likes of Luis, the media would love to think they finally got to him and drove him out of English football.

Same sources are quoting Reina to Barca in the Summer because he came through Barca's youth system. It's just journalists trying to justify their salaries and stroke their own egos.

      Lock this right up...

He isent the manager yet - they have said no 'crazy' transfers... Even if he went mental and handed in a request then we would easily want 45 Million plus - which if invested could really help the overall squad - and even un earth the next Suarez.

Cant see why this is open - as there has been nothing to say this will happen in this window!

What irritates me, is these bogus stories that are put out, can always make any manager sit up and start sniffing around where you don't want them sniffing around - and where they may not have sniffed around if it wasn't for the subtle 'nudge'

Exactly this. The truth is obviously that a lot of clubs will be interested in Luis and the most worrying thing for me is that I trust Luis' resolve more than the owners. Thankfully they must realise that if they cashed in on him, rather than him wanting to leave they may well be hunted out of town.

The fact that Sturridge is doing what he is and magnifying Luis' mastery leads the shitehawks to inform us that his genius is being noticed, where's the F***ing news in that??
Perversely instead of relating how much of a bonus and asset this is proving for LFC and the player himself they tell us the blindingly obvious that other clubs would like to have him onboard, really??
As negative as damning the man at every given opportunity it could be said and should be said because the truth lies at that very statement, Luis' detractors will be well pleased with the media's conduct in the campaign.

Bayern are one of the few clubs that could afford him if they'd want to actually, even under the financial fair play rules. But I don't think they're willing to spend more than 30-40 million on one player. I'm sure there will be alot more speculation this summer regarding Luis and other clubs.
