Entirely fair enough. He's a very good player. I was just pointing out that we haven't won 7 of the 9 games he's played in. Of course it's a team sport, there are 10 other players to have good games or sh*t games - just thought it was interesting to point out that for a player supposedly valued at £130M he doesn't seem to have a transformative effect on Liverpool's actual results.
He can be up there with the likes of Iniesta, Thiago, Isco etc, but why isn't he? How many times have we seen him do the job of Hendo's where he is dropping in to dictate from deep? And when played in midfield, why do we need him to interchange with Hendo or Wijnaldum/Can where we will see him as the deepest lying midfielder covering defensively? Combination of unsuited tactics and average players perhaps is the reason why we seem to struggle with him, and/or why he is stagnated as a player for us.
There is no doubt once Coutinho moves to a bigger club, he will notch it up a level or 2 because there are far better players than what we have in midfield and defence which would lead to less defensive work and better possession play. As much of a c**t he is for doing what he did, I can understand why he wants to f**k off.
