      Pre-Match: West Ham V Liverpool: Sunday 6th April 2014 - 4pm
      Mar 31, 2014 10:50:26 pm
Not looking forward to this. Horrible Sam whom alongside Redknapp loved Fergie and Manure and hated Rafa and Liverpool. Downing. Carroll. Nolan and his leg breakers. Never seen as bad a tackle as he did against Anichebe. Hope Skrtel and Agger stand up tall. Can see Allen coming back for this one.
On the plus side; we rock. And west ham are safe. So let's get an early goal and kick ass. Last year's win there included Shelvey as a false number nine. Sweet.

Nolan, Noble and Carroll. That's their threat.

Just get at them. Tomkins, Reid, Demel and Taylor with Adrian in between the sticks - no excuse to not put a couple past them.

Again, just need to concentrate on ourselves. Do the job, get the goals and just get three points. That's all it's about.

If Andy Carroll scores against us, the dislike I have for his (lack of) football abilities will turn into hatred. So come on Andy, remember the greatest club you played and will ever play for, and be the crap striker you usually are. No goals, no threat. Thank you very much.

We'll teach Big Sam a proper football lesson.

IT's time for us to really stick it to Big Fat Sam from the kick off. Another good win will really put the shits up City. I don't see any reason why we will not come away with 3 points off the hammers.

seen them recently just an avg side..even last nite they didn't do much, big andy from corner and diame with deflected shot thats all ,din't look much of a threat ,defo they ll be more aggrsesive at home bt massive improvement in defending really fills me up with confidence,
agger sktel are high on confidence they can handle carroll ...Wham ll just try to nick one in and then off the parking the bus...would be good if we take early lead again. Would be Last tense away game for me(not bothered abt c.palace) ...lets do this. YNWA.

Imagine we beat West Ham, Stoke and Southampton somehow both win at Chelsea and City. That would leave the table like this

      Team           Played   Points

      Liverpool          33         74
      Chelsea            33         69
      City                   31         67

Granted its not very likely but how good would it look.

First it isn't at Chelsea and City. Chelsea and City come to us.

Second, why isn't it very likely?

Think he was talking about this weekend and how it's unlikely Stoke and Southampton will go and win at Chelsea and City.

I can actually imagine both those matches ending in a draw, certainly Southampton could hurt Citeh and Stoke are a tricky side. I just hope that we get the crap version of West Ham, as they have been most of the season and not some pumped up fired up version. Was very good that they won yesterday which leaves them fairly safe, a desperate scrambling West Ham could be extremely dangerous.

Well I have a dilemma with this game.  When I did my predictions for the run in back in February this was the only game I had us not winning and went with a 3-3 draw.  Now however I think we'll win it easily but do I change my prediction as the last time I did that we drew with Swansea

It'll probably be a slugfest, stop start football, lots of freekicks, maybe a sending off or two but whatever tactics fat Sam goes with, Brendan and the lads will overcome them  ;D

Well, its £131 from a £1 bet that us, Stoke and Southampton all win. Stranger things have happened folks.

      I'll let Red5man off aswell.

Interesting game this one - for sure...

Away from us we have the Chavs playing Stoke - a side who beat them earlier in the season. One day Jose's run of not losing at home has to end and this could be the one to do it... However I would guess that they will win here even after an away leg against PSV. This is however for them a bit of a dodgy game and one I would not want if we were in their position... City have Southampton, who are capable of an upset - but at their ground I really don't see it happening... If it did it would remove a lot of pressure from our boys for the game against them next week.

For us we simply have to win - again - to keep any chance of the title within our sights. It will be a tough game and WH will no doubt revert to 'Big Sam' form and pack out the defence and play lots of long balls over the top. We will have to break them down or so I would have thought.

What helps us is the fact they are almost safe now so there will be a bit of pressure off them - and the fans reaction post their last game with the booing. This may force WH to play a better brand of football that will allow us to get at them, however this is unlikely. We should be able to over run them across the park and up top we have a lot of fire power - so out scoring them may be our get out of jail free card here.

For us we are lucky, what ever the outcome of this game we have the chance to put it right the week after by beating City so I want get too upset on the result of this one.

I think we all have as much confidence in the lads as they do in each other. Can anyone really see WHU taking anything from us not a chance the lads will be all over them like a rash.

Can get much better odds than that mate, with reason too. It will never happen.
