      Looking forward to this game.

To an extent the pressure's off the lads so we can get back to the devastating football that's demolished most of our opposition this season.

Let's play with freedom again and finish our away campaign with some style.

Agreed, but if the bluenose beat City it'll be back in our hands

there is still at least one more twist to go Villa might be scrapping for their lives and remember Andy Carrol how weird would that be if he nicked appoint of City for West ham

Was thinking about that earlier Walton - Hammers snatched a last-day scoreless draw off the scum in 1995 to help Blackburn (under Kenny) win the league.

      Stranger things and all that....

Tony Pulis hates LFC so I expect him to fire up Palace for this one.

This is the toughest game of the final two however in all likelihood the reds won't be top by kick off for this one so there could well be a loosening of any pressure.

just want us to win our two games and after that its out of our hands. Two wins would be a great way to finish off a fantastic season

I think City showed yesterday that grabbing an early goal vs Palace is crucial since it completely ruins their game plan of sitting back and countering vs the top teams. I'm thinking that we gotta score early and often in this one.

I think in a funny way losing to the chavs could be an ok'ish thing as the pressure will be off a bit now, maybe we can go back to our free flowing beautiful football and absolutely spank Palace and the barcodes. We are certainly due a big big positive score line again

I think we need an Everton/Citeh match thread, as we can all Om on Everton - seeing as our game is two days later.
Think you're on to something there. As much as some people may not like it, we're all Everton fans on Saturday.

More I think about this one.. more I believe we should just go out there and absolutely hammer Crystal Palace and Newcastle.

We've hammered Spurs, Arsenal, Man Utd, Everton...

If we really put our mind to it - and just go for it. We can do it!

All the talk is Man City, and that is of course simply due to their goal difference. Let's bring it back to our own destiny, by absolutely tonking our opponent in our final two games, and winning it regardless of what Man City do.

Too crushed to think about this. If Everton lose we may be cooked. Although villa play better against the top 4. Either way we can't lose as that would mean finishing behind Chelsea which would upset me

We will win by a record score.

Gerrard will be miffed that he made a mistake and will have a point to make.

The whole squad will be miffed that we lost to them lot and the fact we have a while to wait for that match, the players will be hungry, angry and determined to make it happen.

0-12. The players will make it happen.

Too conservative. Pulis' prematch talk will coincide with a massive stroke, leaving Palace to try the previously unheralded

The 'umbrella' isn't tactically flexible it'll more of the same after half time. I do hear though that Mourinho is toying with the idea of inverting the umbrella.

Don't believe it will happen, but I'd love us to stuff them 8-0 and drag this back into our hands.

Realism tells me just any win and cross our fingers that other results go our way.

City win their three remaining games 1-0, we spank Palace and Newcastle 6-0 and win the Title with +1 GD.

What are the chances of that happening, hey?
