Gerrard hasn't looked good thus far in pre season. Lucas has been the better player in that defensive role.

I think Lucas and Coutinho look really good together in the middle. I would love to see a midfield diamond of, Lucas, Can, Henderson & Coutinho. Maybe even Can/Henderson and Lucas sitting with Coutinho as the #10.

They've sold off their players and their managers have been told they will have to promote youth. Their spending days are over and since last season they've been woeful.

They want to sell Robinho, Balotelli and their only signings have been frees or rejects.

1st half was better than the 2nd. We pressed them high in the first half and pretty much bossed that half. Milan looked ordinary.

Henderson looks as though he's going to be a key player for us this season and said that Rodgers has set him a target to get 10 goals which I think is achievable. We missed him during those last three games of the season. With the addition of Can in midfield I think we've strengthened midfield in conjunction with Henderson's development, or stature as a player.

Allen had a better game today, made a great defensive tackle that was probably as important as his goal. I thought Kolo was very good too and Mignolet made two great saves.

Lovren, Sahko, Agger, Skertel, Kolo, Coates & Ilori: I can see one or two CB's leaving this summer and I cannot see high profile CB's being happy to sit around on the bench. Having said that we need some of those kinds of options up front with Sturridge and Lambert - who incidentally had a poor game against Milan IMO.

Good little run out and it's great to be able to get another game in with the final on Monday, gives the lads a better chance of being properly ready for Saints on the 17th. I thought Coates looked the part nice again and Ibe once again showed why he should not be sent out on loan again this season. Chuffed to bits to see Suso grab another excellent goal, the sooner we get this lad on a new contract the better as far as I'm concerned. Was surprised Markovic did not get any minutes, was he fit to play? Hopefully we will see him on Monday. Also be good if Rickie could get himself off the mark after the shock of him missing a penno.

NO LFC game is insignificant when we play UTD it means something. Can't wait to see Brendan unleash the boys on them tomorrow.
