I have a feeling deep down within, that Spurs are going to piss on our parade.

A Spurs season ticket holder at work has said how well they are starting to play. add to that how bad we have been playing, I just have a feeling we may come up short!

...or we could nick it as we did at Stoke...

wont be the end of the world if we dont win though, its just begining of the long road back to the top...

just being honest... dont pelt me with insults!!  ;D

edit: I did put loss... but only because sometimes I go with my gut feeling

International break fuks form out the window, its a lottery after these 2 week breaks, injuries, players returning at different times etc.

I can see Klopp picking a team from the guys who have been back the longest.

So players who played last night, probably have less chance of starting, and will be on the bench.

lucas, coutinho, studger etc. all stayed back they will be shoe ins for starts.

                                Mignolet

               Clyne    Gomez     Sakho    Moreno

                            Lucas     Can

                  Ibe        Coutinho      Milner

                              Sturridge

The above lacks a bit of pace & width but I don't see any other options.

Its a real shame we no longer have Markovic or Firmino in the squad. Both would perform a million times better in a Klopp set up.

I'd take a draw right now.  Focussing only on stats, getting a point from your 5th most difficult away game would be decent IMO.

New manager probably hasn't met all of the players yet and Spurs on their day can run riot.

Whatever happens in this game I'd expect us to look totally different when we get them back at Anfield later in the season.

...or we could nick it as we did at Stoke...

Can't see us keeping a clean sheet at all. In either half of the game!

      A win. (4-1-4-1)
                  Mignolet
      Clyne  Lovren  Sahko  Moreno
                  Lucas
      Sturridge Milner Coutinho Lallana
                   Ings

To change to diamond 4-4-2 with the introduction of Can for Lallana later in the game if goals are still required.

I went for substantial win, not blind optimism, I genuinely feel that there will be a tidal wave of passion in our team and we know that they are already skilful, plus we have a great record against Spurs in recent years.

I think if the Tottenham players turned up to their own ground quaking in their boots, they'd certainly not be in the Premier League! Make no mistake - this match will be very difficult to get 3 points. It's not long since they were a constant thorn in our sides and clearly have a solid team and an excellent manager under Pochettino. They are, quite simply, better placed at this moment in time. They'll be well prepared and well versed for this game whereas we need to come out from this underwhelming slumber this season (but, as Klopp crucially pointed out, we're not in the absolute pits). A win would be a fantastic way to start the big man's reign off but my head says that this isn't the favoured result though.

      Walter White ?

I am the one who Klopps.

On the other side : Excited for the game at Spurs, i think we will overrun them and win with a 2-goal margin.

I know a few folk (and Jürgen) reckon this squad is better than it's results but without Henderson and Firmino (who'll hopefully be back), I reckon it's woefully imbalanced in the middle. Lucas, Can & Milner are too slow in transition and too similar in 'style'(imo obviously).

There's just no way I'd have all three on the pitch at the same time and for that reason, Milner doesn't make my team.

      Mignolet

      Clyne Skrtel Sakho Moreno

      Lucas Can
Ibe Coutinho Lallana (Firmino if fit)

      Sturridge

One other thing... we've been sh*te but Spurs haven't been much better.  ;)

A win shouldn't surprise too many reds.

Been some week. Proper buzz around the place with the new gaffer.

That doesn't mean it can't go tits over arse Saturday. Playing a decent side. Some of our lads may struggle to adapt to the new gaffers tactics. The gaffer himself may find it hard first game in a new country and he may struggle portraying his ideas to the lads at the moment.

So for God sake let's be cool calm and collected both in the build to the game and the post match talk, whether we win or lose. Let's take time, be patient and let the team and manager develop together over time and not demand miracles from day 1

Defensive situation isn't great now Gomez is basically out for the full season.

Recall Illori I say - the club have really fu**ed up sending him there while Tactics Tim refuses to play him, despite some star performances in the U21 Euro Championships.

Anyone's guess how we'll align.  Jürgen has used several shapes while at Dortmund... but I think his preferred is a 4-2-3-1.  With Benteke possibly not available due to injury, we may see Ings start up top and Sturridge to the right (where I imagine he'll align when Benteke returns).  Regardless, psyched to see our debut under Jürgen. I'm going for a nice Reds win!

                             Migs

          Clyne   Gomez   Sakho  Moreno

                       Can      Lucas

                 Milner     Couts    Lallana

                             Sturridge

      1-2 to the Red Men

With Firmino and Hendo both injured that looks about right. Or, you could drop one of Lallana/Milner to the bench, slide Studge back into the #10 position, and play Benteke up top. Either one would be alright by me :)

Sadly, I don't think we're going to see Gomez start at CB this weekend....

Head says it'll be tight....  Could be a narrow win, loss, or draw.....

Heart says we're gonna smash these fuckers 5-0 again!!
