Comical really isn't it the injury list.

A promising performance, simply more commitment than we've seen recently.




As so often this season, was very impressed with Lucas. Strong contender for MOTM, but then so many others did well - even Lallana seemed up for it. The only weak spots were Moreno & Clyne, who especially in the second half were rather anonymous (& then there's Mignolet to consider...)

Scrappy 2nd half, but we did something we've not done recently ... dug in and fought hard
Stoke had more possession, but didn't really create many clear cut chances.
We deserved the win.
Well done to the players, well done to Jürgen. Much better.
Defense did well in 2nd half, Toure and Lucas as makeshift CB, Clyne and Moreno.
The lads ran out of steam in the middle / up front, Firmino taking over from Cou with the long rangers.
But at least we proved we're better, and can be a lot better, than recent games.
Roll on the 2nd leg..

Agree about Kolo, another plus is you can keep the name a little longer, pray he doesn't score 2nd leg or you'll have to be Inho!

Tale of two halves. Creative and excellent on the ball first half, organised and battled in the 2nd half.

Really good team performance, so much so that I'm struggling for a MOM for this one. Ibe is a shout, I thought Joe Allen played very well, Lucas was excellent at CB after Lovren's injury but I think I'm inclined to give it to Kolo. I thought he was excellent, sniffed put danger, organised things, won a lot of 1st and 2nd balls.

Plenty to do for the 2nd leg, like us they play they have played their best football away from home this season.

Kolo: " We are Brothers, we have to fight together! ".  Love it!!!!

Terrible isn't it. I saw less injuries in the opening 20 minutes of Saving Private Ryan.

We dug in for that second half and I thought Lucas and Kolo were excellent.

10 out of 10 for coming back from a terrible Saturday then losing two players and then kolo as well very impressive until Benteke came on WTF was that about

He is massive and looks very strong but can't win headers and gets took off the ball extremely easy.

What the F**k is that all about?

Stoke were always going to come at us second half and they didn't make too many clear chances so that is something to build on and my MOTM Lucas is a real red.
