I wish this Christian Benteke was the one who scored all those goals versus us.

The team looked a lot better with Coutinho and Sturridge on the side. Hope they'll stay fit for the rest of the season, those two combined with Firmino will be immense.
I wonder whether Benteke will ever score again for us.

If Benteke put in half his chances tonight the game would have been over in 90 mins and we would have won 5-1 .

Massive job for the club in the summer. We have (or will be then with Ballo) 2 strikers who between them couldn't score in a brothel... Benteke could have been out there all week and not hit the back of the net, Lucas will get the blame but it wasent him that cost us the points.

Worst thing is, Benteke dosent even get in the right positions. In the time Studge was on he showed us what a striker should be doing.

Benteke has now missed 4 or 5 easy one-on-ones for us this season, scored 0 (I'm guessing on the latter). For £32.5m that just isn't good enough.

no he didn't we shouldn't have even got to extra time if that big useless lump had put away half his chances no way can Lucas be blamed what about all those tackles he made breaking up goal scoring chances.
