I can see us scoring 4 or 5 against these

They've got an excellent defensive record.

I mean...I don't know what to say...I think it was a mistake to not bring on a Stur at the end, especially after one of their defenders may have got a pull on his hammy..

Toothless. Seemed to be happy settling for a draw. Always bites you in the ass with that approach. Blame Klopp for this one.

my conclusion is he is a thick c**t nothing else makes sense

Not the sharpest tool in the box is he? Putting him in our attacking line up is the equivalent of turning up to the Alamo with a F***ing banana as our weapon of choice.

Thought Lucas did really well tonight ,stopped players, good passing, MOTM, we were just unlucky,if extra time had been shorter,if our shots had gone in ,but they didn't I remain convinced we can get a result at Anfield

I can't blame Klopp - we packed the midfield to stop their threat at the neglect of attack, and we did that. Some players losing their heads in the 90th minute is not the fault of the manager (considering we had a striker on at that time anyway). Let's remember we would have been pummelled if this were the last days of Rodgers (and I say that as a Rodgers supporter). There's still a lot of naiviety that needs to be ironed out with this bunch, and Klopp can't wave a magic wand to iron all this out on 8 months.

But old habits die hard and we lost our heads in the 92nd minute - give it a year and we wouldn't do that. Some are more naive than others - particularly the left side of Moreno, but more so Ibe who was shocking so pretty much making Moreno work overtime.

Whatever, nothing changes as we attack them next week.

5 mins of Moreno stupidity from not taking the lead and being out of position.

time for him to be put out to pasture he has had a good few chances but for every good game he has 6 stinkers.

Think he means whoever loses the bet has to put it in their signature for a week.

I.e. if we don't score 4 or 5 you have to put...

They've scored 41 goals in the league this season. Their attack isn't anything special. We didn't stop their attack either as they ended up scoring.

Because if we finished them off here, we wouldn't have to go to Anfield and score 2 for every one of theirs!   We had Sturridge sitting there doing nothing, what's Jürgen saving him for?

See, sometimes you believe players could do a job out there but sometimes they just let you down. I'd say poor on field execution. The players made mistakes too.

Pragmatic tactics that came within seconds of working.

Sadly I think we could have won this game

My thoughts too mate, pragmatic tactics that should have seen us to a decent 0-0 draw BUT I always felt we could have grabbed a goal if we had a bit more up front so it's no wonder the finger is being pointed in Jürgen's direction with regards to Studge. I think it's a safe bet he'll start the return leg!

Still fancy us to win the 2nd leg 3-1

same here just poor concentration when its really needed highlights the quality we really have. Not picking on Joe allen but a top midfielder would have buried his chance imagine Gerrard running on to his chance. We at a level below ere we need to be

Why leave ourselves in a position where we must score multiple goals in the 2nd leg? Why not just go for the goal(s) in the first leg (when the opportunity is there) and take the pressure off ourselves?

Poor decision not to bring Sturridge on ?? may well cost us the tie. Still the atmosphere at Anfield next Thursday, could be brilliant, if the lads can overturn this slender advantage.

How did Ibe stop Moreno squaring the ball at the end when he was through on goal?

If Ibe is petulant enough to delete tweets from the last year because he wasn't being picked, perhaps he should have the humility to delete his whole F***ing Twitter account after that car crash of a performance.
