We were well and truly sh*t over 2 games, well deserved Southampton. I have a feeling we may be in the middle of an epic  mid season bottle Arsenal style. Shame because we were on fire first half of the season.

Totally gutted, we never deserved it, they had a plan and stuck to it. We seem to only be able play one way, if that doesn't work we have no plan b or c.

And for the record, Southampton is the shittest night out I've had in this country of all the places I've been.

Not sure what we can do to change it? All strikers are off form, seem to have lost our metal in the middle and defence looks pony.

When's the last time one of our players ran at the defence? Pass side to side around the box trying to walk it in, we been found out, and were easy to defend against.

We were never going to win the Title, and we are looking into the 5th place or lower abyss, If we were to get knocked out of a cup it is better that it be this one than the back door into the CL FA cup

I seriously fail to see how merely adding a few names would solve our problems. Suarez wouldn't be able get around this defense tonight.

I'm with the Boss regarding transfers, especially in January market.

We just need to work harder and get our mojo back.

Absolutely right mate and it's the Sturridge fan bois who will revel in it, that's the sad point. That's my biggest gripe with Jürgen, Firmino should have started in the middle, without doubt in my opinion.

Hopefully those that say Sturridge 'still has it' and should be starting every game might wind their necks in a little but that would hurt the pain of going out like that.

Don't think anyone with the slightest bit of common sense can blame all this crap on the fact that Mane is missing.

We are becoming similar to the performances in Rogers last couple of months.

To say we don't need a few players in is deluded.

I just can't believe that we've not been in for a defender of any kind and that with our resources all we could come up with was 3 attacking players, all of which we had no chance of getting anyway. Might as well get rid of the scouts, seems like they just get paid to travel the world and site see.

Buy players?  WHO?  Who'd have made a difference, who's available or temptable?  Confidence has gone, that's clear.
