Do you think it was Jürgen's master plan to send out agent Sakho to get pts off Arsenal and Spurs?  :D

      U never know. ;D.

If this is between us and Man Utd..

16 Apr   Premier League   Chelsea Draw 1 pt
23 Apr   Premier League   Burnley Win 3 pts
27 Apr   Premier League   Manchester City Draw 1 pt
30 Apr   Premier League   Swansea City Win 3 pts

07 May   Premier League   Arsenal Win 3 pts
13 May   Premier League   Tottenham Hotspur Draw 1 pt
21 May   Premier League   Crystal Palace Win 3 pts
TBC           Premier League   Southampton Win 3 pts

Total 18 points. We are 6 ahead now, so reduce that down to 12 points.. and that's how much gain they could have.

That's generous too! I've given them wins against the lesser teams, draws against the big, and even 1 win vs Arsenal.

So, I reckon we need 12 points from our remaining fixtures (18 points). 4 wins...

      Should be enough!

cant see them picking all those points up, not with fa cup & Europa cup games inbetween.

4 wins from 6 and we cant be caught, but I reckon 3 wins will probs do it now, given the fact the others are all playing each other and so must drop points to each other.

But I reckon we can win all of the remian9ing games, even with the Injuries we have many weapons up front, coutinho & firmino back on form, sturridge back, Origi scoring goals, Gini & Can playing very well together.

      All good IMO.

Agree. I've gone for worst case (realistic) scenario. Basically, I've put them down for wins against any team that on paper they could beat, and the big sides, I've even given draws plus one win.

Hopefully City and Chelsea will beat them anyway.. and perhaps a slip up somewhere else too.

In all, we have a great chance here!!  :)

Or this could be piss easy considering Manu's run-in, and Arsenal's piss poor form, and they also have to play Spurs at WHL. Next couple of matches should give us a far better picture.

I would REALLY like to avoid having to play a Euro qualifier in August. I'll take it over 5th of course, but honestly, direct to group stage would be so much better, especially given we should be blending in 3-6 new players.

Just had another go at this, http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/plot-liverpools-road-europe-fixture-12776103

and I get the following now and that would do me just fine:

      1 Chelsea     94
      2 Tottenham 84
      3 Man City    82
      4 Liverpool    77
      5 Arsenal      67
      6 Man Utd     63

Basically both Manure and the Arse have absolutely horrible run-ins where I think they'll both drop plenty of points so we can actually afford to lose quite a few and still romp home in 4th but I reckon we'll win 4 with 2 draws.

I'm just praying we can do it, if for nothing else, we may attract s better standard of player.
Shame 5 of the last 6 weren't against the top sides. We'd do it at a canter then 😊

We have an amazing chance to secure champions league football. It really is in our hands and the Stoke result will surely improve the mentality moving forward.

Firmino, Can and Coutinho coming into form at the right time.

Would love to see what Klopp can do in the champions league.

We don't have European football and we're still get shoved out to Sundays and Mondays.

5 of our last 6 games are on Sky with 5 being on a Sunday and 1 being on a Monday.

      @West Brom - Sun 16th Apr - 1:30pm - Sky Sports
      vs Palace - Sun 23rd Apr - 4:30pm - Sky Sports
      @Watford - Mon 1st May - 8:00pm - Sky Sports
      vs Southampton - Sun 7th May - 1:30pm - Sky Sports
      @West Ham - Sun 14th May - 2:15pm - Sky Sports
      vs Middlesbrough - Sun 21st May - 3:00pm

At least those paying for Sky get something for the obscene amounts that it costs, I guess. 36 of our games this season (inc. domestic cups) will have been on BT or Sky :D. Might as well offer a team subscription.

Sorry but what is the problem with our games being shown on TV, we don't all have season tickets and it is kind of fun to see the team play, well most of the time anyway and definitely apart from January!

I'd imagine that Boro game will get on TV as well if the top four hasn't been sorted by the last day.

At least we should be able to get through the knock out rounds with some degree of respect ...without the utter CL embarrassment of a season or so back that we suffered.

As  I understand it ..... if the Scum get the Europa and the Foxes were to win the CL ... then even if we came in fourth ...we would be bumped out .

We'd better push City then and get third for fun.

Don't they do some kind of whip-around for the final matchday, showing bits of every (relevant) match?

Agree about third so we can go direct to group stage (and the fixtures are to our advantage), but I wonder what the odds are for Leicester to win it, even having advanced this far. I would fancy a rather large bet on Atletico over two legs. You probably have to bet large to make anything on it.

But come to think of it, it would adversely affect us, so yeah, that's probably what will happen.  ;D

Atletico have got Simeone as boss.

My second choice after Klopp for here.  He'll see them off and shoot a few Foxes.

Let's hope so. Let's hope Simeone's bunch of real men can slug a few in the face of Vardy as well.

F**k Leicester! Hope they get tanked.
There are only 2 games in our run in that worry me, Palace and West ham. Palace because they are in good form at the minute, and West ham because they will launch high balls into our box.
I think we'll get over the line in the end though.
