Entertaining first half and deservedly ahead. Alexander Arnold has to be pushing Clyne for his place

If we click properly even just for 15 minutes of the second half then we run away with this.

Good half that, just a shame we didn't deal with the corner. Those criticising Lovren though drive a hard bargain ;D. He's marking Williams, denies him a tap in by blocking his shot 3 yards out then when the rebound falls to an unmarked other, it's still Dejans fault!

Thought it was more a case of Lucas/Matip going to sleep and not bothering picking up Jagielka which caused the goal really. Surprised Dejan is getting a bit of stick for it.

Ross Barkley shouldn't be on that pitch.

      Again.

Not classic LFC by any means, but we look as though we have their number today (at the moment). I don't know whether that's because they've gone to a back 3 but we're in front and that's what matters at the mo.

I think Lucas has been excellent, Mane has been very good as to Coutinho. It would be nice to see Firmino show up a bit more. Lovren and Can special mentions too, both had a good half.

On a cautionary note, I think they've been poor and will improve. I've seen a fair bit of Lukaku this season and rate him highly. Though Lovren has played him really well, I'd expect the big lad to comeback into it second half. It ain't over yet, it probably should be but it isn't.

Great to see our best player coming back into form. Hopefully it spurs Bobby on a bit, he's been very quiet again.

Ross Barkley shouldn't be on that pitch.

      Again.

Nope. Halftime commentators on my broadcast all agreed, he should have seen straight red for that tackle on Lovren and it should have been his second yellow at minimum.

Sounds about right that. As you say he shouldn't be on the pitch, in my opinion he should have been sent off twice already. Double yellow which he got nothing for and that was a straight red on Lovren.

Just made up Lucas and Can having good performances while in the pitch at the same time.
Bob not been monumental first half. If he can step it up and get a bit more involved we could batter these.
Think we'll see Barkley off second half. Too imature to contain himself and will clatter someone. Earlier the better.

And to think some people were talking about a "cheeky bid" of £50 million for Barkley a few years back.

It's an absolute scandal he's still on the pitch.

Williams looked offsides to me, but of course the linesman is blind just like the ref.
