I think that is the first time I have heard you swear  :o

:D You don't get in the match thread often or you're being properly sarcastic!

Can't contain myself when it comes to the game, especially when the bluenoses use those cowardly tactics.

Interesting observation from Redknapp for once, when he said "If Lukaku wants to be one of the top players he has to influence these types of games, rather than being a flat track bully against lesser teams".
Paraphrased a bit, and it's not often I agree with Redknapp, but he's spot on with that assessment.

Yep thats what he is. Good defenders can keep him relatively quiet (not quite as much if the game os stretched towards the end) but if Lovren was still injured and Klavan or Lucas were to play then Lukakus eyes would have lit up and he would have fancied the task more.

Not my cup of tea and I think a lot of the very big clubs feel the same. Being Evertons star man is probably his level because he'd be a bit part player for a very top team, and I can't imagine him being a great impact sub, seems the type who needs games.

      Who cares anyway!  ;D

Great performances from Mane, Lucas, Lovren, Matip, Couts. Almost gave it to Lucas, thought he had his best ever game for us, but you don't have to look further than Can for motm.

Great game. Lots of energy, work rate, broke things up, can pass, never shirked a tackle, and looked a leader out there. On this performance, possibly the best signing we make this summer is getting Can to sign that new contract.

Two motm performances in a row

Top top performance! I thought they were all excellent. Superb from Klopp, playing Mane through the middle in that opening half hour was genius, bringing Lucas back to play in the middle was perfect for this game, same applies to Lovren who was dominant and bullied Lukaku and his subs were bang on. Fingers crossed the Mane injury is nothing serious.

Even bluenose twatbpat nevin on the bbc said lukaku looks good on motd highlights but it looks different when you watch him for 90 mins

Great stuff redmen, worked it up the insignificant club once again, some of there players should be playing F***ing rugby instead of football the F***ing bunch of cloggers, the evertonians can crawl back under there rocks & into there holes for another season, you would think after all the pastings we've given them over many many many seasons they would realise there is only one club of any importance in this city.

he's old school that's why! great weapon to have in the day and age!

      Lucas ?  Exactly .

      Always been a big fan.

Derbies can go either way but again not this year for them.   ;D

3-1   we outscored my Prediction but its done our goal difference some good.

Enjoyed the game ..... they really didn't have a clue and Lukaku suddenly was made look very ordinary.

At the end of the season without hardly any additions to the old squad this man Klopp and every player deserve all of the plaudits they get for playing above their weight.   Max Respect to the lads.

I still say 3rd place as the Spud are ahead of us in development and feel we are closer to that after today.

The hard work and big games are behind us for the season. Its a pity that the Chavs have pulled away   who knows what could have happened if Conte hadn't tweaked it.

      Well done Red Men.   !

Good win. I thought we controlled the game really well without being at our devastating best. Lovren, Matip and Lucas worked really well in nullifying Lukaku. I thought Lucas was really good and screened the back four like a don. I've given him plenty of stick, and rightly so at times, but today he was imperious and it's night and day between him being played as a CB compared to a CM. Lovren had Lukaku in his pocket and came back into the team with a confident display.

I thought Milly had a pretty decent game too. Emre Can had another very good game and boy did he take the brunt of their dog yard tactics, the effing mongrels!

Coutinho turned up well in a pivatol moment of the game with a sublime goal, and an assist for the impressive Origi. Mane was (as usual) that direct threat and took his goal really well, hope he ain't out for too long. The only player out of the 11 who disapointed me today (and usually it's more than 1 so that was a good sign), was the ineffectively, invisible Bobby Firmino. I honestly forgot he was on the pitch half way through the second half. Mane, Coutinho and Origi all had a better effect on the game than Bobby did. 10 out of 11 playing well and winning against the BS, is nothing to complain about.

8 games to go, and it's there for the taking.

      Well in Reds.

Koeman said he's proud of how they played...Foul after foul

Score didn't reflect the performance...didn't really trouble us other than their goal

Said we make a show and dance over things that happen on the pitch and Lucas was making fouls as bad as Barkley.

Koeman giving a classic interview there.

Very proud of his players and the scoreline doesn't reflect how the game was.
