Nice and shows that it’s perfectly possible to mention culture / religion in an affectionate, respectful and humorous way.
For the record - just as us Atheists can laugh and smile at ourselves I’ve never been in any doubt that people of faith (any faith) can too. Some just choose not to - that’s the same for my Christian friends, my Muslim friends, my Hindhu friends and a couple of Jewish people I know but would class more as acquaintances. It’s personalities not faith that drives hate.
Heavy point and perhaps not the thread but it gets lost in all the Daily Mail and UKIP hateful invective about Islam these days.
