Virgil was up for the corner and still got back to be in from of Sigurdsson when he got the shot off.
      Midfield was dire tonight.
I do think that when we got back, we were too deep inside the box, overdid it and couldn't close the shot, but as King said, might have expected Can to stay on him.

it's not that simple to say as long as it was a goal. Everton keeper was rubbish. I do think that VVD should be taking over as penalty taker, as well as free kicks.

Seen worse oennos though, at least he hit the target.

The only decent part of AOC's game tonight were his set pieces, which were top notch.

Delighted with that. Robertson was really up for it wasn’t he. Got my MOTM. I seriously think we need to add to our midfield in this window. Can is already in Turin.

I was telling the missus all night that Virgil would score😊😊😊

I'll take your word for it because can't be bothered to see replay. Won't miss Can to be honest. He's persistently below par.

      That's some level of ignorance.
Two people have corrected you on your viewpoint and response is "Can't be bothered".

Can't wait for Keita to arrive.

I'm F***ing delighted for VVD, that has to take some pressure off him with that debut, absolutely solid and will quieten the naysayer's.

Missed the game with work, but looking at highlights, how did Holgate not get a card of any kind for pushing Bobby into the crowd? Is this fair play now?

okay, how much prize money from this game?

I'm pretty sure he meant repaying as in repaying the faith the manager had in him to spend so much mate.

Sure and it went all good this time, but would you trust him in a CL clash with Barca, 90th min., we need to score, penalty, Milner? I would not after what I've seen...and it's not just this penalty. I'd love to ask Klopp about that, but those journalists won't, they'll be all hyped about VVD.

There are two kinds of approaches to a penalty:

      1) Just before you shoot you look up and see where the goalie intends to go. Messi or Müller do it, pretty safe if you can do it.
      2) You just choose where you wanna kick, run and kick not looking at the goalie. Easier. In that case you better shoot so that even if the goalie has the right smell the ball has a good chance to get in. Kicking right in the middle is kind of a bluff, but you can do it, but not like Milner kind of left-middled. Worst choice, because IF the goalie has the right side he will stop the ball no matter what.
