And how is that a defensive issue? We huff and puff because we are a machine programmed and cant think outside that programme.

We have 2 full backs insisting on crossing

Forwards who wont take the defenders on in the box

Midfielders who want the short sideway pass and wont carry the ball at the opposition

Repeat repeat repeat repeat...its not working but we leep repesting

Milner and Origi on aghead of OX and Minamino, in the hope of winning?? Come on, our issues are not defensive

I disagree. Our issue is that our best ball winning midfielders are now centre backs and their influence is reduced.
Problems are at the back but manifest throughout the team.

Put Bruno & Pogba at centre half for a few games and see if the media would be still messing their pants over United.
If we can get Matip back (or a centre half in), push Hendo forward and see the return of Jota we'll be a different proposition.
Some people don't seem to realise just how much we miss Jota.

Trent with about 3 minutes to go had the ball Mo made a run and pointed where he wanted it. What did Trent do, delayed then crossed a high ball into the box on top kf a 6'5 defender, but we blame defensive issues!!

yep screamed at the tv then.

Struggling to find any positives at the minute, we look devoid of ideas going forward, if Jürgen can’t find a solution we’re going to struggle to finish top 4. That was a massive 2 points dropped, the sign of Champions is winning when you’re not playing well. We can’t score even when we’re on top against a poor Utd team, and make no mistake they are a poor team. Reajusting  my expectations for this season rapidly. Just sad!

All the ball and nothing to show for it.

Never looked like scoring, never looked like looking like scoring.

      United with the best chances.

      Seen it all before sadly.

Bet Minamino is glad he scored against palace.... has he had a kick in the league since?
Very puzzling, confidence must have been sky high after Palace game. Mind you we don't see him in training, so can't be doing much not to come on for Bobby after an hour there.

      A few things killing us:

Starting CBs being out hurts out attack hugely

Our best MFs not being in MF

Not having a true shooting threat in the front 3. All are high energy but aren't all that clinical

Were dead tired. A lot of football the past 3 years and lack of off-season.

      TAA looks completely lost

No fans hurts everyone, but IMI, us more than anyone.

Gonna be a fight for the league and top 4. Don't know which one pertains to is in the moment. In a bad way and need something to go our way

Huffed and Puffed but very little end product front 3 needs changing Jota back soon but cannot afford to keep playing this way . Bobby , Salah and TAA all need some time out for me

Front 3 have lost their mojo, they had the better chances, but we bossed it for the most part, hope Klopp does not come out and say he is not worried, we are creating chances, 1 goal in 4 is not good enough
Front 3,Not on it at all & that combined with two of our best players from last season being used as as a makeshift defence is F***ing us up big time & we need to F**k right off with trying to walk the ball in all the time.

Best ball winning mids in defence agrees but how is that an issue when we own the ball? Were 4th because we arent creating andv herefore not scoring because were predictable and refuse to change, even try something diffrrent within games

United are f**king sh*te mate, play like Stoke

Yet still had the better chances though mate. Was a poor game, think we can all agree on that.

Eh? The fact is he was contributing this season and now he isn't because he's injured.
So we are missing what he brought to the team.
It isn't last season any more, numerous things have changed.

DeGea had one comfortable save to do and which he did nicely. United had the better chances and that's even after Ole parking the f**king bus for fear of defeat.  :f_steam:    In no way did you deserve to win the game bmck.

We have no CB's on the pitch for us and you still didn't try and win the game from the start,OGS is a joke of a manager who is always happy with a draw against us,he has never tried to play football against us because he's scared,we are completely out of form and you are top and in form but still play negative football only opening up in the final 10 minutes, that's why you won't win the league and will never win the league with OGS.
