Wow! Always new there was bad blood from Alonso point of view with Hamilton but that radio message was harsh.

Love Fernando but when you've spent your whole career making bad decisions and failing to be a team player you're bound to be a bit grumpy.

think Hamliton will be happy with his record compared to Alonso who has just become a wide load on track these days

Bit like United in football.  :f_doh:

Think they may put the blame on Hamilton on this one.

thought the new rules were if you have a wheel in front its your corner. Interesting to see what the Stewards make of that while Max is just flying through the field

That Latifi F**k up is even more stupid on replay. FIA should do the decent thing and take away his super license.

So embarrassing, even if they had faster car than red bull would still lose races with strategy and cocks up.

Hard to see anyone beating Verstappen over the next 2-3 years when he's in such peak condition. Even if Red Bull only make a half decent car in that period, they'll still be in with a great shot of being world champions such is his superiority.

You've seen Leclerc and Ferrari drop the ball horrifically despite having an excellent car throughout much of this season. But it's been such a cock up on their part that it raises questions about their abilities to reach the top. Facing such incompetent opponents won't be every year for Red Bull but they still show that anything less that 100% from pit wall and driver will simply not do (though with Ferrari they get 3/10 at best this season given the tools at their disposal. And I think I'm kind on them there)

Much as it pains me Stappens deserves it this year so won’t be bitter like I was last year. Unless Mercs get their act together you’ll be right.

Mercedes have one hell of a job to do to get back to competitiveness with Red Bull let alone being out in front again. Red Bull's supeiriorty is so good now that they can look to focus on next year's car 100%. Maybe Mercedes should do the same (and maybe should have admitted defeat with this car a couple of months back).

Wolff and Hamilton basically confirmed this with their comments this weekend...

Well I suppose a wins a win and a few more Bob to my bank balance but it’s not ideal watching such dominance. It’s a long long season for us Merc fans.  :f_wah:

Looks like Lewis taking the blame for it then, still thought Alonso bang out of order with his comments. All stems back from when they were team mates.

The last two major technical regulation changes, in 2009 (as Honda / Brawn GP) and 2014, they had the presence of Ross Brawn who was so ahead of the game that the designs were planned well in advance and with an acute understanding of where they could exploit / maximise the rule book to their benefit.
