Is it just me or are the Reading fans singing 'there's only one Steve McLaren'

Fortunately they're right!
Fancy Crouch to make a guest appearance before half time...

I admit that I'm still relatively new and all of that, but Sissoko doesn't impress me at all.

You're right superjon, he's not the greatest. This isn't the sort of game where his talents outnumber his flaws, but he definitely needs replacing with someone who can do what he can and more.

Crappy refereeing! he gave a penalty when it was not a penalty and then refused to give one when Torres was infringed upon in the 18 yard box.

Hobbs still hasn't been tested properly. No must-make tackle or one-on-ones. He's been pretty comfortable so far in the company of Carra.

Babbel needs to come on to hold the ball and go past the nervy defense from deeper and lucas leiva to bring some fluidity into the passing.

Would go with Lucas for Sissoko, but no other changes needed right now for me.

I'd like our width back later on in the game if (when) we go ahead. Kewell on for Voronin/Torres and put Gerard out on the right. Start knocking those balls in for Crouchie to knock down/score. Sissoko is clsoing down well but he isn't settled on the ball and we look nervous and edgy everytime he's in posession (also risks giving away dangerous frees around the area so I'd like to see Lucas on for him around the 70min mark.

What the hell is Riise up to? You don't stall your run when you're crossing the ball.
