Team for Tonight's match is as follows:

Itandje, Hypia, Riise, Arbeloa, Carragher (Captain), Alonso, Gerrard, Pennant, Babel, Crouch, Torres

Subs Martin, Aurelio, Kewell, Lucas, Kuyt

A good attacking side, good to see Crouch get a game.

      COME ON LIVERPOOL :kop5cf8koxp6: :scarf:

We'll leave the Luton team news to their boss Kevin Blackwell.

"The ones that are fit are here, obviously we just have to get on with the game now. We've got 16 players, that's all we've got." Nuff said.

Im pumped for the game. I cant wait to see the entrance made by Carra.

Luton look to have found a buyer with a group led my Nick Owen.

I guess this may lift the pressure of them abit.

6-0 win for the boys and a bounce back to form.

;D aww bless them, good news on the horizon though sky sports are reporting that a consortium fronted by Nick Owen is to bail them out.

Would have been a good chance to play Voronin, get his confidence back. Thought Skrtel would be thrown in at the deep end aswell, didn't even make the bench.

Can't type I'm laughing so much, that's the funniest thing I've heard all year. I think he will have a decent game and it is a great gesture from Gerrard to let him captain this side on his 500th appearance and all but I think you're just being silly now ;D.

Maybe one if he is in the right place at the right time when a cross comes in though!

They just have enough players to field a side. Jesus, and we thought our squad was struggling.

Sky Sports news at the ready, 3 other games are off, I might post some other scores. Liverpool / Luton, and Reading / Spuds, kick off at 8pm

Luton keeper Dean Brill, is not Brill, and cannot properly kick a ball, Spud's reserve keeper is called Tommy Forecast (wonder what his nickname is?)

Luton have got an outfield player taking goal kicks - because of a thigh strain.

Babel's beautiful curling shot looks in, until it smacks onto the post with the keeper well beaten

Torres is put through by Alonso, but blazes a tight effot over, a ball to Crouch on the edge of the 6 yard box might have been a better option
