A NEW group is preparing a plan to buy out Liverpool FC's US owners.

It is understood the group comprises high-profile LFC fans, legal experts and people in senior public positions.

They are believed to be proposing a Continental-style model where fans own a huge stake in major clubs.

The ECHO understands the group plans to raise £500m to buy the club AND finance a new stadium.

Mate it's definitely possible, we could seriously do this, we could raise cash and buy them out, im actually being serious, those that seriously want them out will donate! We could egt in cotnact with this group and own shares and sell it on to the best man/group for our long term future!

Surely this is essentially what owning shares is all about.  I'd be quite happy to own a 'share' of Liverpool FC - even if it was with 50,000 other people.

I would throw in 10 or 20,000. although i think this could be a bad idea because it could lead to alot of disagreements among other fans, although we could then sell half to DIC
