I hope you mean Paul Gerrard because there's no way on god's green earth that Totti is anywhere near our Stevie. Totti can't tackle, not that great a passer and certainly doesn't get from box to box the way Stevie does.

He's inspirational i meant. He isnt the same style player Gerrard is, Totti is purely attack minded and not asked to drop back.

Dont think there is one player in the world close to Gerrard in the way he tackles, passes, shoots, so composed etc.

Well, i admire Kaka's dribbling. Stevie's shooting and defending. Alonso's passes and Fabregas' intelligence

Yes Sergio Ramos think he's a quality defender and had a good Euro2008 aswell.

Remember seeing him early on playing centre back as was quite shaky, but he has certainly made the right-back spot for Madrid and Spain his. Can't see Alvaro dislodging him.

Richard Dunne. The man is immense. Also quite like Danielle De Rossi for Roma. Plays a bit like Gerrard. Kinda looks like him too from afar.

Lionel Messi is absolutely brilliant he is already touted as the footballer of the year and deservedly so he has vision, skill and is still very young wait till he has a few more years under his belt

They said the same about Ronaldinho!!! Messi needs to avoid the glamorous side of football and focus on what is happening on the pitch!!!!

quite a few so il narrow it down to two- Kaka and Ryan Giggs. Kaka for his sheer brilliance with the ball- very exciting to watch and believe me, hes worth a trip to the San Siro. Ryan Giggs may be a contreversial choice on here but I love the way he is sooooooooo devoted to football.

Ricardo Izecson dos santos leite or known as Kaka. Great player, great vision silky skills with the ball and a good guy into the bargain.

As many have said, Messi. It's the way he can create space for himself at ease, and just runs away from challenges that makes him a pleasure to watch.

Stephen Ireland has been very impressive so far this season.

Shay Given has to be one of the best keepers in the league. He has saved Newcastle so many times this season.

Thats it so far this season in the Premier League. Alot of the other players have been inconsistent but we'll see what happens now.

And of course; Lionel Messi, like everyone else I just cant get enough of this guy!

Barca's Bojan. 17 years of age, brilliant on the ball and what you would call a "goalscorer". A bit like Michael Owen. Bojan has pace, skills, a fantastic finish and a low wage which shows he is not motivated by money. It's a shame he is of the same generation of Messi, because if he wasn't he would be a future world player of the year, but I believe Messi will overshadow his brilliance somewhat.
