A bit of competition for Arbeloa will be good for the team think thats  what we might have lacked in some positions last seasons.

A few great posts there lil cisse! Some very valid points. Hopefully, Degan is the first of many. Dossena sounds good, plus Italian full/wing backs are renowned to be good. In an ideal situation we could hopefully sign two of the following, Kranjcar, Bentley, Joaquin and/or Silva. I also think we need a striker/playmaker such as a Zarate or Aguero, however these aren't going to come cheap.

im just not so sure about him cause i have a friend who follows the bundesliga and says he is 'nothing special', just a rubbish player on a free transfer. i hope he is wrong.

I watch a lot of Deutsch football, and Philip Degen is a fantastic footballplayer & he can score!
