Sums it up for me.

A very difficult away CL tie against possibly Europe's most in form side - we weathered the first 20 minutes and then bossed them.

What a cracking result, and a deserved one IMO. Roll on the weekend, three points in the league, and maybe the vultures will stop circling... but I doubt it.

Good result, good game, thought eveyone played well.

We bossed the park from start to finish, regardless of what that w**ker Andy Gray has to say. 

Bring on the game in 2 weeks, and through to the next round.  I reckon we'll be playing Inter in the next round.

A complete performance without Gerrard and an ineffective Torres - makes it even more sweet!

Alonso was top notch and controlled the game and Kuyt was much improved with a better first touch and some better passing. Yossi deserved the goal and a great ball in from Aurelio.

Hahah I am thrilled absoulutely thrilled a little dissapointed that we did not put them away allready. They were there for the taking definetly what a performance by 11 very brave men that started that match. As said above the media sh*t out there will be scratching their heads now in dismay.

Well done Rafael Benitez you truly are a coaching genius. Just managed to defeat the most in form side in Europe in their own back yard. The Madrid bench summed it up for me pretty much over 50 million worth of talent in V. Fart and Schneijder in cotrast to Lucas, Dossena and big Sammi!
