they should change it to PFA Man Utd players award...no reason to have 20 teams and thousands of players in the league if you're going to choose a bit-part player like giggs, i mean he's a good player but when you rarely start but still get pick, hey why don't we nominate agger?he also rarely start but gives a hell of performance just like giggs. don't get me started on ferdinand...
for me if you want to look for the best players, you've got to look beyond the big 4 also...don't west ham deserve a chance or maybe fulham, schwarzer and dempsey has been brilliant for them. what about kevin davies or matt taylor for bolton? don't they also deserve a spot...5 manure in the list? sure get me laughing

      :lmao:!

Although to be fair, I don't think he would have chosen Gerrard after laughing in his face when hearing of a rumoured move to United!

That list is a joke  :f_steam:

However, it's going to make it even sweeter when Stevie steps up on stage to accept his award.

Totally agree!  Apart from being a fantastic player, he's also a realy great bloke, a superb ambassador for the City of Liverpool, for LFC and for football in general - imo the most deserving nomine!

Pray to GOD that all that 5 scums do not win anything! Let Stevie win and shove it back Fergie arse.

Ronaldo- A Divine Diver, cry baby and arrogant SOB!
Gerrard- A talismatic, complete all-rounder that Fergie hoped he was born a Manc!

This has to be the biggest joke in world football. How the F**k did Giggs win when he has played less and done less?! Absolutely F***ing ridiculous. Im fuming.

Absolute bollocks this, how can a player who has only started 12 games and done sod all win it!

Should have been Gerrard's seeing as he is actually a worthy winner and had a great season.

With choices like this we will be seeing Neville win World Player of the Year next! :f_steam:

Giggs has done F**k all this season. He's made a few appearances, and he is a great player but with about 12 premier league starts it's unjustifiable.

Alonso should have been in there, as should Lampard. Insua should be in young player of the year, he's much better than Rafroel in every way.

He even looks embarrassed by getting it, he gave a forced smile and interview at the end.

But again its 'superb organisation' by the f.a and p.f.a isn't it? How can nominations for a seasons work be put in so early, im not sure of the dates they go in but its well too early to give a real view of the season.

Just boycott this award next season if any of the scums players were nominated, surely we'll never gonna win it period! Not even worth an award! Wonder how a player who did start rarely and gave an average performance got the award as players who worked their a** off didn't have the chance?
