Great result! Followed the game in work. What a way to bounce back 2-0 against the Mancs.

I was sweating bullets all the way up until the 97th minute. 

Best part of my weekend, being in a pub with my Dad and a couple of other Liverpool fans surrounded by an Army of Mancs geering with beach ball jokes ....all the way up until Nando's goal.  Silence from them for the rest of the match

Our Nando definitely wasn't fully match fit.  He looked a bit sluggish out there to me.  But what makes him great?  He shrugs it off and makes a stunning goal (to be fair from an amazing pass from Yossi.)  Atta boy Torres!

Crisis what Crisis? I get so fed up reading all the bulls**t from the so called expert sports writers in the media.
I agree its not been the perfect start to the season but Rafa is a tried and tested manager for Liverpool and he has once again proved (and the players) that while all those around you lose their heads, Rafa and the players will come through this hiccup!
Here is a question in answer to all his critics. Who the h*ll are we going to replace him with?
I agree with the majority of fans that the real fault lies with the two American jokers Gillette & Co and the only sensible decision they have made is bringing in King Kenny as an Ambassador for the club who will hopefully give Rafa wise words of advice without him feeling he is being underminded!
I watched the match this avo and without a doubt Torres is World Class, how many players (like Drogba) would have taken a tumble in the penalty area when he scored his goal?
But on an even happier note there is no better sight than seeing Sir Alex with a face like a smacked ar*e and a manager that knew the game was up when he threw Owen into the fray like a condemned man with a last throw of the dice.
Let the season roll on !!

That was us at our best today loved every minute of it ,jumped up so quick when we scored i nearly passed out ,oh the silence from the mancers ,placed a few bets in the pub last night muppets thought it would all be over today ,just the start my friends.

What a win! Fully deserved, I talked about needing grit and determination in the week, and we showed it from start to finish!

Everyone put in a great performance, though Dirk Kuyt stood out for me. Besides his usual amazing effort, I thought his first touch and passing were simply out of this world.

Besides Dirk, Carra and Agger were awesome, two rocks at the heart of our defence. Despite his red card, Masch was also world class. Torres was also massive, coming back from injury and receiving no favours from the manc defence, he was outstanding.

The end of the match was a riot! Where did those five minutes come from? But when N'gog coolly slotted home, I jumped around screaming "You asked for it Fergie, and you F***ing got it!"

Hats off to Pepe for that celebration, it brought a tear to my eye, as did the sight of King Kenny applauding the boys at the end.

Yossi - what a player he is.  Aurelio, great game...Every player was on the money today.

Oh my word! Watched the match in a pub with a mixture of reds and Mancs- however the Mancs probably outnumbered us. But you wouldn't have guessed it with all the singing from the reds. I am made up Well done Rafa and the lads!

Rafa for his faults is a magnificent manager and his record is second to none despite what all the sport writer muppts say about him.

Great match, just what we needed, didn't think much of the Kop chucking beachballs and sh*t on the pitch though.
