Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez claims he has been given no assurances over his future on Merseyside by the Anfield hierarchy.
Benitez has the chance to lead the Reds into the European final of his tenure on Thursday night when they aim to overturn a 1-0 semi-final first leg deficit against Atletico Madrid.
The Spaniard has seen his future called into question after a dismal season in the Premier League where they look set to miss out on next season's UEFA Champions League, despite a 'guarantee' of a top-four finish from the manager earlier in the campaign.
The Reds are struggling to meet that pledge and are currently two points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, who also have a game in hand.
Future
Benitez, who has been linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus, is keen to focus on the Atletico showdown.
He said: "I have spent a year listening to names like Martin O'Neill, Jose Mourinho, Jürgen Klinsmann and Frank Rijkaard (being linked with his job), but I've just kept doing my job.
"All my focus is on the next game, that's the future for me, but no one from the club has spoken to me about mine.
"For me the next game is always the most important and playing in a European final again would be massive for any club."
