It could be Deloitte that is off for all we know.

In LFCs case, GBP is the local currency, so it is Deloitte that is converting currencies not the other way around. Even then, because LFC is a global brand with revenues across multiple countries, those revenues have to be converted to GBP so it's a big cluster to figure out. You can't just take the current exchange rate, apply it, and think you're going to tie. P&L's get converted to local currencies at the end of each month using the average exchange rate throughout the respective month.

I highly doubt Deloitte is off and some Internet rando is the authority 🤣🤣

      LFC Wages List

Who exactly are living up to their wage bill?
      Yes
       No

Mohamed Salah             £350,000   £18,200,000   Lost pace, declining production (influenced by injury crisis)
Virgil van Dijk             £240,000   £12,480,000   Lost pace, no longer the alpha
      Thiago                     £225,000   £11,700,000
Defensive liability, so many passes/so few assists
Alisson                     £190,000   £9,880,000   Solid but occasional gaffe
      Jordan Henderson     £190,000   £9,880,000
Wish he could give more minutes
Fabinho                     £180,000   £9,360,000   A shell of his former self
Roberto Firmino             £180,000   £9,360,000 Difference maker prior to injury
      Alexander-Arnold         £160,000           £8,320,000 Worst defender in PL/lost pace
Andrew Robertson     £160,000   £8,320,000   Terrific when healthy
Diogo Jota                     £140,000   £7,280,000  Not his year
      Joël Matip                     £140,000   £7,280,000   Solid
Darwin Núñez             £140,000   £7,280,000   Not clicking yet
Naby Keïta                     £130,000   £6,760,000   Has his own plaque in physio room
      Arthur                     £126,000   £6,552,000   Who ? 6 mill LMFAO
      Oxlade-Chamberlain     £125,000   £6,500,000
Loved him prior to injury, not anymore.
James Milner             £120,000   £6,240,000 He's fine as sub
      Joe Gomez              £95,000           £4,940,000
         Solid
Luis Díaz                      £90,000           £4,680,000   Brings game when healthy
Ibrahima Konaté      £71,000           £3,692,000   Not completely sold but like the price
      Kostas Tsimikas              £65,000           £3,380,000
      Big fan of his energy
      Adrián                      £63,000           £3,276,000   Haven't a clue
Curtis Jones              £47,000           £2,444,000   Like his ambition though Klopp has lost trust
Harvey Elliott              £46,000           £2,392,000 Love the kid but his pace is major liability especially with Thiago & TAA on the pitch
      Caoimhin Kelleher      £32,000           £1,664,000   Great #2
Fábio Carvalho              £32,000           £1,664,000   Love the energy, but not close to top 11 caliber
      Nathan Phillips              £24,000           £1,248,000
Sure why not (though he's a tortoise)

Team pace is a major issue, especially down the right side
Salah no longer capable of scooting past average or better defenders
Elliot is brilliant with the ball, huge liability on defense
      Everyone blows by TAA
Factor in Thiago's lack of pace
Expecting this group to succeed in press coverage is delusional
The ease with which teams blow by these players is evident each match
If LFC isn't winning the possession game, they are more often than not screwed

The three sick notes Arthur, Ox and Keita coining it at our expense. Several key performers on the wane or out of form but still getting an absolute packet. I'm surprised you put Nunez in the red given he's just joined the club. I'd say he's orange as he's clearly not far off it. If he scores regularly he immediately turns green like the hulk.

I highly doubt Deloitte is off and some Internet rando is the authority 🤣🤣

Whoever that Cordell guy is knows what he’s doing. He estimated 596M and actuals were 594M. Hadn’t realized Deloitte’s number was from the release of the annual report, which is obviously based on actuals and not estimates.

Plus you’re learning how to read a financial statement.

Getting a bit sh*t the amount of crap TAA is getting for his defending yet Trippier and James are no better and even Cancelo for City has had a few bad games too. Nothing said by the shitbag commentators.

But our own fans should know better than to constantly slag our own. Proper gobs***e bluenose behaviour!

They've spent f*ck all in 13 years ... they're not gonna start now when they're trying to cash their chips in.

They're hated in Boston too ... all they're interested in is lining their pockets. I doubt Jürgen even bothers communicating with them.

And you just know ol John isn't going to show his face over here and face the music.

They need to sell up now, they have earned a absolute fortune from the club and now we desperately need investment but they are not going to do that so time to part.

Analysis from Reddy on behind the scenes at the club.
Doesn’t make for a great read in fact it’s quite worrying and confirms what quite a few have been saying the club looks in a complete mess!

Most worrying of all if true the Gakpo and Nunez signings were driven by the coaching staff.
Not the direction a club with limited funds should be taking without input from the data nerds.

For a moment, put to one side what it is Reddy is reporting and consider who it is briefing her and what the reasons behind that are.

This smacks of when H&G were in charge and there was a period of time when a lot of stuff was getting reported to deflect attention away from them and towards Rafa being the problem.

People briefing Reddy that certain people have too much influence are no better because all it does is paint the club in an even worse picture than it currently is.

The buck stops with the owners, ultimately the team is in the mess it is because of a severe lack of investment and letting a team run stale in far too many areas.

Yes and no just look at the Gakpo and Nunez signings that money could and should have been prioritised for midfield and no doubt if Ward was still operating as DOF it likely would have.

Tbf this is not the first article showing how we have gone from the best run club in the world to basically a pound shop Utd!

Ward is still DoF and was when Nunez was bought 🤷‍♂️

If Ward and his team aren’t deciding which players shoold come in who is ? Klopp ?

I don’t see any issue with the Darwin signing if I’m honest. He’s not been spectacular but there is clearly a damn good player there once he finds that consistency and composure. His stats last season, not only domestically but also in Europe were incredible and he ripped us to pieces both times he faced us. I’m not saying a good performance against us justifies a signing, but to highlight that it’s not often a player rips into us as easily and as confidently as what he did, not once but twice.
Obviously football isn’t all about the stats regarding goals and assists but Darwin certainly doesn’t lack the workrate required to be a Klopp player, he’s forever chasing back and often winning back possession in a defensive position for us. Then factor in Mane, Origi and Taki all leaving, I can’t actually think of many others the club could have gone for but another attacker was needed. Additionally, isn’t he something like the 5th fastest player to reach 10 goals for us? So he’s not been the worst of signings.

Gakpo however, that just doesn’t make sense to me. I know it’s early on for him and I know I’m saying there’s clearly potential with Darwin and he had good goal involvements, but everything about Gakpo just seems off to me. Yes we have injuries in attack but signing Gakpo and then playing him out of position just counters any benefit he could bring IMO. His work rate isn’t great and he looks incredibly slow. Long term when everyone is fit, I don’t think he’s anything more than a backup player if he’s going to be used as an attacker. For me, I’d say he’s more of  a 10 but we don’t play with a 10 so again, makes you wonder where he fits in.
We were desperate for a midfielder in the summer but a mixture of no money and the right player not being available, yet a few months later we find best part of 40mill for another attacker whilst the midfield is still screaming out in desperate need of new additions.

When we signed Gakpo, I don’t think I was the only one scratching my head wondering if that was the smartest addition to be making. When you then consider his performances so far, it makes that decision even more questionable.

I’m not writing Gakpo off, it’s too early to do that but through no fault of his own, he’s not gotten off to a good start and does have more pressure on him arriving at the club with the team being in the situation it is.

We signed Arthur on loan and Chelsea signed Zakaraya (whatever his name is) on loan, both from Juve at around the same time. For a team that is riddled with injuries and is crying poverty, why did we choose the player with a big injury record and who commanded the higher loan fee? Decisions like that is one of the many that make no sense.
Arthur has played 13mins before picking up a big injury, after arriving at the club out of shape yet the one who when to Chelsea actually looks quite decent and IMO has been arguably their best summer signing going by the little I have seen of the Chavs.

Ward is still acting in his role, he hasn’t left the club yet.

There is clearly a lot of problems at the club but again, who is briefing Reddy and why?

Read the article that’s exactly what it’s suggesting the coaching staff so Klopp and Llinders.

By the sounds of things we should just let the tea girls sort the signings.

So Klopp and Pep are overruling Ward hence why he is going ? So it’s Klopps choice instead of bringing in a midfielder we bought Gakpo ?
