I read a good bit of the magazine 'World Soccer' and in their most recent edition, they featured each Euro 2012 team, with an interview from a player and manager of each team, as well as providing a profile of each player in the squad. For Luuk De Jong, it simply said:

"Younger brother of Ajax's Siem. Can play in midfield as well as at centre-forward. Strong in the air. Born in Switzerland, his Dutch parents played professional volleyball".

If we are in for anyone, and the gaffa wants to keep things quiet, you can bet players  agents will be doing their best to get news out so they can get the price up by introducing competition. So to say we are probably sorting transferrs out on the quiet is a bit of a shot in the dark. Nowadays if there is no noise, there is probably nothing happening, so I don't expect to see de Yong at Anfield any time soon, or at least not in a red shirt.
