Yep. When you look at the change in team and formation you know Kenny has really thought this through and knew how tom get the result against a difficult side.

Rather then a bog standard 4-4-2 week in week out, that was from the LMA manager of the year and then we have apes in the media saying Kenny has been out of the game to long

I wondered about that alright. Loads of those idiots saying the fans drove Hodsgon out and he needed more time. Well
Kenny didn't need more time did he. Three wins on the trot in his first month, cleansheets and more goals scored. Our
goal difference has gone positive for the first time in ages. Just shows our fans now more that a soccer saturday panel.

Yeah if Roy was here we would have lost Torres and have run out tonight with Carlton Cole up front.

3-5-2. What a blast from the past. Didn't Evans play that too. Looking forward to seeing the changing formations of King Kenny's side :)

Kenny just looks buzzing. The guy just looks like he is absolutely loving it. Doesn't look like he's bogged down by the chains of owners like Rafa was in his last couple of years. Doesn't look like he's bogged down (with respect to Roy) by an inability to do the job. He just looks wowza and it's rubbing off on the players.

Kuyt's work rate was world class, and Suarez's lay offs were wonderful. Kenny must be licking his lips at the prospect of whats to come because Suarez's awareness with his new teammates even when they have not trained together was truly amazing.

Also seeing Kelly bomb down the right side throwing balls into the box makes me really excited to get Carroll on the pitch. The man is massive target and unchallengeable in the air. Bright times ahead and who better than Kenny leading the way!

      Absolute f**king bollocks.

The way he spread the play tonight at times was almost Xabi-esque.

Take a look at his chalkboards tomorrow and you will see.

He was responsible for the way we circulated the ball tonight, and kept it, and moved as a unit.

      And you know what?
He's been doing it for quite a while, if only some would open their eyes.

completelt agree, he's becoming quite a decent player in our midfield, if he was no good why would kenny include him in the team week in week out?

i'd agree actually. lucas' game has really come one since the dark days of watching him play sideways and backwards 5 yards passes. he attacks and plays forward a lot now and rarely gives the ball away.

he won't be alonso anytime soon but he is still so young and i'm so pleased that he's shown the determination and drive to improve himself. i wasn't a fan for a long time, but i think he should be a regular starter as the dm of choice.

Only thing he needs to work on, is his confidence to move forward with the ball. There were 2 or 3 times he had an ocean of space in front of him and he took the short pass. It will come with time but his passing tonight was clean, crisp, and deadly.

Very good team performance. I thought Gerrard was fantastic the second half. 17 tackles won between Stevie and Kuyt. His distribution was quality throughout too. Deserved a goal.

Voted Gerrard MotM. Was between him an Dirk today, but there were a lot of solid performances. Meireles can't stop scoring and we've really got one in Luis.
