      Pre Match: Liverpool V Swansea City (23rd Feb 2014 - 1:30pm)
      Feb 19, 2014 11:47:45 pm

Nothing other than the league to distract us now. 12 cup finals ahead. Whether we believe top four is the holy grail or that we can actually win the league, every game is a big game from now until May!

                              Mignolet

            Flanagan  Skrtel    Agger   Cissokho

                               Gerrard

                      Henderson   Coutinho

                Sterling      Sturridge     Suarez

Obviously expecting a comfortable home win with this bunch struggling at the moment and also playing Europa League Thursday. Rafa and co should tire them out!!!

      COME ON REDMEN!!!  :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6:

I dont think the boss will play Glen this soon, more likely on the bench. Maybe give Joe a go against his old club? :)

Swansea play Napoli on Thursday. We will need to be mentally prepared lest we underestimate them and suffer the consequences.

Expect us to hit them as soon as kick off.

No chance can I see Swansea beating us here especially the current situation that they are in.

      3-0

      Sturridge x1, Suarez x2

Got a ticket for this one, will be my first game since Oldham so thoroughly looking forward to it. As long as we don't underestimate them, I can see a real hammering on the cards here.

      8-0. Suarez x 5, Sterling, Gerrard (pen) & Sturridge.

Looking for a good win against Swansea, we need to pressure them from the kick off. :kop5cf8koxp6:

Definitely the best team available, will be good if Johnson & Aspas can get 20+ mins. Bony is both physique & pace, we saw what Ox did to Agger last week for the second goal, hopefully our CBs are up to the task. Dyer-vs-Cissokho is one of my other concerns. Jonjo would be desperate to make an impact. I'm going for a 4-1.

Hoping to have Enrique & Sakho available before the Old Toilet visit

No mate, don't think so. Joke considering it's an 13:30 kick off and first game of the day.

Really need a win. I have been thinking about the Europa and spurs could rest everyone who played at Newcastle and still put out a strong looking team in paper. So I don't expect them to be tired at Norwich and after that. We therefore have to kick ass, win and then think about a very tricky fixture against Southampton next week. Suarez needs a goal

I think spurs will lose and be forced to field a better side on the second leg, I don't see what sherwood is thinking when winning europa also gets you in CL. Surely it would be better to beat dnipro and then worry about setting up against the mighty Norwich after? Amateur manager! Chelsea didn't have this attitude when they won Eueopa League recently. Dnipro shouldn't be underestimated and I think Sherwood is making a blunder.  Dnipro gotta be delighted to face a watered down team. Wonder what Spurs fans thinking right now.

Gotta win here.  This is a trickier match than what some people would think.

No distractions so No excuses!  we must walk away with 3 pts

definitely believe allen will play a role.  might be a cameo appearance swapping with gerrard or cou

The 2015 year winner will be the first one to get a CL place, not this year.

I would like to see the same team that won Vs Arsenal 5-1 and for us to bring Johnson and Agger on at half time.

Play our best available fit players. And not Joe Allen.

He can watch from the bench at his old club, current club and hopefully next club play the match.

Thursday, Sunday fixtures for them, we should be taking advantage of that, certainly giving Napoli a game thus far though.

I wouldn't be reliant on them being out tonight then Sunday. They'll be up for it and have done quite well against us to date with the 5 nil last year our only win against them in the last 6 meetings. There mid table and know a defeat here isn't the end of the world for them so they can go in relaxed with no major pressure, that makes them dangerous

Again for me we need to approach this like a derby, passion from the off and a desire to go and win every ball. If we set the tempo that we have done against our main rivals recently then we should have too much but if were off colour then this is dodgy territory. They have the ability to counter us.

Not sure where we are at fitness wise but Flanno keeps his place for me and Id probably leave Cissokho in as well
